SARS11

Hey I recently did this when my little one was starting to show signs he'd roll soon, I started with swaddling him with one arm out during naps for a few days, then I moved to both arms out, and then a sleep sack instead and he did really well! I started with just naps because I didn't want to risk messing up his night time sleep but since he had no issues with one arm out and then both I just started doing it at night too. It worked really well! Now he's fully in the sleep sack and is rolling. I'm glad I started before he was fully rolling, because he really liked being swaddled so I was a bit nervous.

Followed your exact instructions and still getting an error. Why is this so hard

SARS11

Gorgeous!! I love the colour of the center stone

We have 2 dogs and they have 3 beds total. Used to be more but recently I threw the 4th out. We have a 2 storey house so there's a giant sectional couch in the bonus room upstairs, and 2 couches in the living room on the main floor. I also have a large round chair with an ottoman in the office which at this point is probably more of a dog bed if I'm being honest 😂

My husband and I always refer to things as BS as in before me (name starts with S) because he has a terrible memory so if he tells a story or something and I know it happened before he met me I'll go "that must have been BS"

SARS11

My warranty also requires every 6 months. Been almost 2 years and no issues so far

SARS11

Anyone managed to change out a daith themselves? Does a taper help? Either way I need to invest in a taper because I always have a terrible time whenever I try to change my nostril. (It's a flat back push pin but I cannot for the life of me put the post through the inside of my nose. It's so hard.)

SARS11

Honestly haha

SARS11

Must depend on the system, we can do it where I work. (Obligatory not a nurse, I work in the lab) We don't run them at our hospital but usually they can steal some from the CBC tube or just slap the hba1c label over top! That's really silly that they can't do it where you work

SARS11

Yes. I won't need them when I'm dead.

SARS11

Came here to say the same. I didn't realize until I stopped how much better I feel when I am regularly exercising.

Recently got a home gym set up and it's only been a week and I already feel 100x better.

SARS11

We are very underpaid. I'm not sure where you are from but in Canada we are lab assistants, lab techs who actually run the analyzers and whatnot make a lot more than we do. If I was able to I would go back to school for that but unfortunately I am not able to

SARS11

Yes this is true also. Obviously a golden retriever vs a Pitbull terrier were bred for completely different things! That's totally fair to not have the bandwidth after giving birth.

Both our dogs are mutts but we plan to be proactive and have a few sessions with a trainer to help prepare us for how to manage them with a baby

SARS11

That makes sense

SARS11

This is brilliant

SARS11

I came here to say the same. I never do them. But I want to make my first pair of socks so I may do one for those, finally

SARS11

Hope she pees soon! Maybe just nerves. She reminds me of my pitty that passed a couple years ago. Looks like a very sweet girl!

SARS11

I still struggle with it, but I try to work on thinking about things before giving an answer and saying no to things I don't actually want to do. For example if they ask me to stay late at work or something. I always had such a hard time saying no. Now I can do it.

SARS11

One of our dogs is fine, the other is not and HATES it. But she does completely fine at the groomers. It's worth the money to save me the headache!

SARS11

I like the 8x6. None of them look bad honestly, but I find that one to be the one that caught my eye the most. It's perfect size and balance I think.

SARS11

no dog* is genuinely 100% safe around a baby or small child. Like yes, certain breeds are stronger/have more dangerous bites etc. But as long as this dog is not aggressive towards humans I don't think the breed should matter. He even suggested doing training so that's a big green flag on his part.

SARS11

hahaha right, I would like to work here then

SARS11

I'd definitely be contacting the app for sure and letting them know about this even now that it has been resolved

SARS11

Glad she got her dog back, if it was me I would absolutely be calling the police, nobody is stealing my dogs!! I have proof of ownership in vet bills/adoption forms etc. That is theft.

Whenever you feel ready! For us it was a couple months. We lost my older dog in July, and ended up getting another pup in September. We had our younger dog still (I had the older one, my hubby got a puppy shortly after we started dating) We were concerned that Bailey would be sad and lonely without her as she basically grew up always having Ceiba around. We wanted to see how she would do for a bit since 2 dogs is so much more work than one, but then after awhile we got to talking and decided we would maybe consider getting one in the spring so we wouldn't have to potty train over winter. Needless to say we were looking and decided to go meet a pup and ended up taking her home that day! ( we brought Bailey to meet her)

I'm honestly so glad we did. She is such a goof and is so friendly and loving, and I think she has really brought out Bailey's personality even more. Ceiba was a bit dog selective at times and really preferred calmer dogs, though they would get rowdy sometimes for sure. Bailey was feral before we adopted her so she was afraid of everything when we brought her home, I feel like she never really got to be a puppy. Scout brings out her playful puppy side and it is so heartwarming to see.

You'll know when you find the right pup. There is absolutely nothing wrong with starting to search right now. I'm so sorry for your loss.
