I agree. The hate for her seems so unnecessary. Not every artist has to be incredibly unique and groundbreaking. She makes good music, and there is nothing wrong with that!

i loved bass persuades a lot actually and i’m sad people aren’t loving it

i’ve been loving this one yay. It’s no 10/10 but it’s still great!

2 days with the encore, and as a huge taylor swift fan it feels strange having more songs attached to this album and era given how monstrous this album was (for better or for worse).

I think songs like Father Figure, The Fate of Ophelia, and Ruin The Friendship all aged incredibly well. I think in time people will realize this album is not as bad as the internet made it seem. This is where I stand:

this one is on repeat for me. I love how corny and cringy and infectious and over the top the song is. Just pure joy, and I love my man too Taylor!!

i liked all 4 songs more than most of the standard tracks.

I am more bothered by Stella Lefty at #2 than I am at Ella Langley at #1. At least Ella Langley doesn’t have a billionaire’s network pushing her to the forefront.

hot take… but ESV might be my favorite miley album, and I loved Bass Persuades because it felt like a more melancholic and dazey version of ESV. That sentence in of itself is a little exposing, given an album titled Bass Persuades should not be melancholic and dazey lol.

went in skeptical came out loving it. I clicked with every song on first listen, and I wouldn’t call myself the biggest miley fan in the world. Thankful for this new music!

my favorite are all from the night side lol. Amalfi Coast and Don’t Leave Me On The Dancefloor are insanely good.
