My M4Max fans aren't spooling up during today's gaming session (PoE2) after installing the update. Odd. FPS cut in half.

Corrected itself after a couple restarts. All working as normal now.

Interesting. I haven't noticed any difference, but glad you're finding a solution that works best for you. I'm just glad GPTK 4b3 cleaned up the graphics.

GTPK 4.0b3 corrects an issue with PoE2 which had resulted in odd graphical issues in game for some characters, enemies, stashes/chests, waypoints, etc. Sweet!

In my experience, cars are usually hardest on oil for the first few thousand kilometres and then they level out.

Not my vid or car, but this is the sound:

So fricken annoying. Like mini castanets. RPM is so low I doubt it’s turbo related.

For me, it was worst in normal mode. I’ve read things like dynamic drivetrain mounts. Happens with PDCC and non-PDCC cars though. Would love to know the cause and fix. I’ve read a lot on it an I’ve never seen a solution.

Brutal. I sold my 2020 4S because of it. I’m looking at a 2026 GTS but it’s almost as bad. Grrr.

Do you have the crickets noise from the engine area when you lift off the throttle at say 1,500 rpm?

You are 100% correct. I knew that BT is the tether connection to the phone, so I’m not sure why I speculated so poorly there. Thanks for correcting me.

What I have noticed is that being on a treadmill that appears to have wifi and possibly BT connections (I don’t connect to them, so I’m not certain) makes this problem more frequent. This could also be an issue with their wifi distribution in the facility. Not sure.

Sad_Designer452

Me too. I suspect the watch is trying to make use of the iPhone's wifi connection somehow, even though your watch is on Wifi. Try turning off your Phone's wifi before locking it up. A well-intentioned guess on my part.

As a workaround, I cycle my watch's wifi on and off when in the main gym area (ie. not the change rooms) as the wifi connection is better there. Seems to work more often than not.

Peasant Cheese makes awesome sandwiches.

Sad_Designer452

Agreed. I should have confirmed it myself. Just trying to help but clearly didn’t.

Great watch! What strap is that?

Sad_Designer452

Gemini thinks it’s “Macs Fan Control”, a third party app. I’ve never heard of it or used it.

No. Cloud Sync explicitly excludes clipboard history.

Odd. Mine doesn’t. Maybe there is something loose.
