While he was rushing all that stuff me and the rest of the friends group were debating about what to do with him and, while the rest agreed that that wasn't healthy and he must stop. I looked at him hitting the gym as he wanted and studying like crazy. Doing all the stuff he wantes to do long ago.

Yeah, I mean, I feel like there was a window of opportunity to do that but they lost. But yes, if they dropped the game for $40 with 15 characters amd the service that it offered in march (which was no casual modes and mostly online) was a much safer bet.

I mean, I agree that riot didn't give this game a real chance, because they laid off half the team 2 months after release. But the general view didn't saw the game lasting more than 2 years, it had a big ass team (because 160 it's a lot of people, I've played fighting games similar in quality to 2xko and didn't had that many people, not even close) amd 10 years of development to deliver only 10 characters and a really bugged experience.

To summarize: you are probably right that riot didn't gave this game a fair chance but it wouldn't have surpassed a second year and numbers alone show it.

Played since the last beta (the one that a week later became early access) because the previous ones were not available in my region. And dropped like around evo. Had a blast with senna but I don't have much free time.

I mean, I agree that if we go to the core of the complaints about the roster it reduces to "it was too small". I still agree with people like evanalmighty that says "the roster make sense but is not good it has no soul at all". And to make this clear I feel like this is a case like mk games where even when all rosters are filled with tons of characters there are rosters among the fans that are clearly the best because the characters resonate more with the people.

What I try to say is yeah if we say "league based game roster" teemo-cait-lux makes sense but when we add fighting game to the equation people call other names because teemo-cait-lux don't have that "fighting game soul" people wanted. And that's one of the game mistakes. And the reason why people is right saying characters like akali riven or sett should have been there

Bro, strive numbers are not enough for a free to play game. Strive numbers are good for strive (a paid fighting game with 5 years on its back) not for a F2P game that had 10 years of development. So yeah, the game did fail because people did not play since "strive numbers" are gigalow for a free to play game

I've seen some high level starlords using fly a bit but for others like doom is almost useless. K7 said that he uses doom fly everything now and then but just to throw divekick asist like goblins or magik air asists. I think fly will be one of those things that arc sys grabs a random season and makes it good for combo extension. Like they did with kame cancels in DBFZ. But I hope and think it wont be as soon as S2 or something like that.
