Binary thinking is a general sign of low intelligence.

You can start calling yourself a software engineer as soon as you can call yourself an engineer.

I hope I'll live long enough to see 'lets bring Voyager back to Earth' project.

Move to a country with high inflation. Any job will get you six figures in local currency.

House is similar but different, left photo quality is too good for 1975, weird perspective.

Точно, у монголо-татар была развитая система социального страхования, больным крестьянам лечение, старикам пенсии, и все за 10% от дохода.

Oh man, $500M is not a money, it is obligation. Taxes to pay, one-time expenses. Moreover, it is easy to take that money from you by any mean. $100K per day is a) large enough b) small enough c) stable income which is hard to lose.

Saw that, been there. Builders are still the best:

kMeans(KMeansParams.newBuilder(x, nClusters).maxIter(10000).build());

Lombok automates most of the boilerplate of the builder.

Because Azerbaijan does not cross red lines (discrimination of Russians and Russian language, destructive anti-Russian ideology, joining NATO and/or letting NATO countries to build military bases on their land).

It is also rich and independent enough to do not sell its ass to whoever pays more.

Russia, for the third time after Napoleon and Hitler

Well, technically, while USSR collapsed NATO didn't and nowadays NATO is much stronger while NATO countries still fear Russia or see it as an enemy or at least as a competitor. Therefore, it is either nuclear threats or inevitable war.

Scf37

I'd guess it will be like that:
- Ukraine joins the NATO

- NATO either confesses it is unable to protect its members or sends soldiers to Ukraine

- Putin either confesses he can do nothing against being encircled by NATO (followed by deployment of hypersonic strike missiles on borders and military defeat) or drop oreshnik on their heads

- NATO either confesses it is unable to protect its members or send more soldiers to Ukraine

- Putin either confesses Russian nuclears are just for show or goes boom

- NATO either faces mutual destruction or expresses deep concerns. In both cases NATO loses.

That's why Ukraine will never ever join the NATO.

You are implying that military build up is the only way to provoke an invasion. This is not true.

Scf37

Definitely! Every nation have a right to do anything and face consequences. Set up new tariffs - expect counter-tariffs. Build up military - expect military built-up at your borders. Host hypersonic nuclear missiles capable of dismantling Moscow in minutes - expect preemptive nuclear strike. And so on.

It is impossible to have a neighbor and totally ignore it.

All I know that the gov decided that NATO on Ukraine is not acceptable to the point the war is justified. I have no idea why exactly - was it black sea control, being close to some strategic locations, nazi heroization or oppression of our people but Baltic States do look really similar...

From the other side, Putin tried really hard to solve the issue in diplomatic ways and I don't think he demanded anything impossible - neutrality and equal rights for population.
