No, I've just heard the brown sauce that goes with Chinese noodles referred to as gravy. I'm not sure if there's a more accurate name. I wasn't meaning like noodles and American gravy.

I believe that the police departments nationwide need to be reformed into a proper social service that helps and protects the people rather than the state. To that goal, we need to work towards disarming them of all lethal armaments', they are not judge, jury, and executioner and shouldn't have the tools for that to even be an option on the table. They certainly aren't the governments private military force and shouldn't have the gear to pretend to be. Defunding goes in step with reformation and disarming, a critical eye needs to be taken to the spending of these departments and as citizens, this is often one of the only levers we can pull. The upcoming levy is a perfect example of how we the people can step up and say, "No, you don't need more money."

I'm requesting the most recent audits of the Nampa Police Department so that we can get an informed history of why they even need this $5 million to begin with. What did they spend their existing budget on rather than hiring new officers if officers are what they say they need? What is the value of this $3 million dollar training center compared to the cost of using the Meridian center? They send a dozen people a year over there for training, does that justify the ongoing staffing and maintenance of a new facility?

Consider 38% of death penalty results have been reversed on appeal. Roughly 1,100 people a year are executed by police in the US extrajudicially as well. With no trial for these street killings it's impossible to say how many innocents are executed by our current government a year.

Your suggestions would require medical professionals to be part of the equation. No one is going to research "best way to kill a person". While you can kill someone with an OD, you can't do it reliably or in a way that guarantees a humane death.
