I agree gun control can work, its just a matter of time and money, it worked in Australia because there were overall less firearms and less people with them as well as a population that wanted them gone and it worked

There will always be bad guys with gun yes, that will almost certainly never change because a bad guy can always make one or worse kill a armed police officer and take theirs

And yes there were a lot of gun homicides in BOTH the US and Australia because 1 is too many already, we shouldn't be arguing if it works or dosent work but how effective it was with the resources given with the population, more of a social experiment with possible consequences

But I do think you are right, gun control specifically in Australia in this current case did work and did its job, it gave civilians a legal way to rid themselves of their arms in a relatively safe and controlled manner and its shown that can work with a willing populace, there is no denying that and if the whole world felt that way we could also disband militaries and nuclear/bio weapons across the world and be peace lovers because while that alone isn't a utopia it is a very large step

Now don't get me wrong, I love guns myself, I own a few and mostly for hunting purposes but not entirely, I understand exactly how dangerous they are and exactly what they can do, I personally own a few just because I think they are cool, they are locked up and separate from their ammunition simply because they are both dangerous and not meant for home defense

But i also say we should outright ban all firearms because whether we like it or not they are a part of the world's history and should be kept alive both physically and in memory

You are correct there are many many thousands if not hundreds of thousands if not millions of unregistered firearms in not just the US but the world which is a problem, and that probably won't change for a many many MANY years simply because people....don't care....they don't, its a tragedy but the world has produced so many firearms and rounds of ammunition that even for the next hundred years we won't be able to rid the world of them or the people who would use them for evil.

Not only that but yes there are other ways people can hurt people, I saw someone mention stabbings and while yes the US has more than say the UK (one of the most common ones i see mentioned) there is so much more to that statistic, for instance you can fit 40 something UKs into the US (I think 44) and the population is a good bit higher (66 or 68 Mil UK i think?) To roughly 340-350 Mil in the US and even when accounted for yes the US still has higher when accounted for the Population difference, and its so much more of a problem then just "well [insert Item/Person] is to blame", its not just our government or the items themselves it goes deeper

There are money problems, mental health, other medical issues, the way the population thinks as its massive and wide spread plus so many different people's and cultures, how our government is spread because of similar things, our policies and politics are very different from most of the world and yes we do things other people don't agree with

But it can't all be fixed in a presidency, or 2, or a dozen, or even maybe a hundred because the problems just build on each other and there isn't one head of this snake its a hydraulic with a million heads

Not even erasing it would fix the problem, so treat it slow, over a long period of time, more than any human will likely see, most likely the problems will outlive America itself

Anyways enough of my rant about idiots thinking its "This side versus That side" and ignoring the many other issues that build on it

Agreed, and overall I was mostly curious as to what they found fun, I like the Bugs and Bots and occasionally the Squids though they are my least favorite faction, I was curious as to the Why

Like for me Bots are the best for me cause I like being sneaky around them and popping their heads from long range and the Bugs for sheer amount of gunfire I can produce killing the hoards
