Overall, it's a decent way to make extra cash that I just put into my Fidelity account. Im not using it to support my living expenses.

I also make sure that only 1 computer logs into the website and I do nothing else on that computer at all. I dont even open google on it unless the task is specified for me to do a search or similar. And I open the email that is connected to the Outlier account.

Im just saying maybe get an old laptop from ebay or get an old (2022-2024) desktop and a VM then use that for just tasking.

??? The only thing that is being tracked is the IP and screen movement. If you enlarge Vmware to full screen and run outlier purely from the VM, thry can't tell what you are running. Just make sure you use shared connection instead of creating a different IP address than your inside home IP address

Im just asking, while those sandbox tests are running, why not just do whatever on your phone, tablet, extra computer? I have 8 computers. Only 2 of them are dedicated to Mercor and Outlier and thats separated. Mercor is on one, Outlier is on the other. I do not open emails, teams, websites, or any chargpt or Claude unless the tasks ask for it.

Just tossing out my advice.

The issue is that you are not supposed to do anything while the clock is running except task. If you are doing something else, pause the task or use the phone or tablet.

Im not saying that people CANT but im saying that you are not supposed to fiddle around while tasking.

Im not pointing fingers. But these type of actions are why the rules have gotten so asinine. Again not point at you but people will try and cheat the system all the time by using AI (which if you can get away with it, do it) but when people get caught then they add bullshit rules. Its the taskers who get caught doing dumb shit(or not being smart enough to get away with shit) that causes more rules to be piled on.
