It's a stylized, satirical take on a World War II German female auxiliary (Wehrmachthelferin) outfit

The German landings didn't have a chance even if they managed to destroy the majority of the RAF. The Royal Navy was, and would have been, an unassailable obstacle. Not just in the initial invasion, but also maintaining supply lines.

No crime has been committed but it seems like whoever is behind the profile is shaping you up to shake you down.

Just tell her you're not interested and block and delete.

That is some wish list of capabilities, which coincidentally, is exactly how main battle tanks have become so heavy.

Most at risk private individual.

There have been occasions.

Policing and the criminal justice system are messy and sometimes mistakes get made.

The tank crews were given life preservers, rode on the outside of the tanks, and were given training on how to escape a sinking tank. There was also a rubber dinghy in storage on the tank itself. How useful any of this was on the swells of D-day I don't know.

It's probably similar to modern day helicopter escape training. It's practiced, and it's run through, but the number of ditchings or crashed over water that have suvivors is relatively low.

Two rapes. One of them at knifepoint

Terrain. In a defensive war from the Russian perspective, the Russians would be fighting on eastern edge of the Eurasian steppe which is extremely flat. The MBT launched ATGMs were emphasised because they could engage targets beyond the range of conventional munitions in this environment.

The poster above is arguing that CS skins work like Bitcoin: neither has tangible value, and both are mainly used as a store of wealth, not for their original purpose.

Drones, in terms of influencing vehicle design, are a relatively recent phenomenon.

In Western doctrine IFVs are for getting troops to the line of departure and then supporting the attack with their autocannon from range. An autocannon is much better at suppressing and destroying entrenched and fortified positions than a machine gun of whatever calibre.

There may be adaptations in the future regarding machine guns and active protection, but who knows.

Well done for doing the right thing and challenging unacceptable behaviour.

There are often posters on here bemoaning the fact that they cannot change society; we cannot. We can only do our best everyday. You and your colleagues did the best you could in a difficult situation and you should be proud.

What I don't understand is how the manufacturer is not responsible for rectifying these issues. Why does the MOD and the taxpayer have to stump up the cash when the vehicle is clearly unsuitable

Sepalous

I guess the reasons will only be known absolutely by the planners of the "special military operation". My guess would be that that fact that it's slightly further away means that it would be less easy to counter attack.

I imagine this was the TSG, a unit known for, let's say, sometimes being enthusiastic. Complain if you feel you were treated unfairly

The Assault Emergency Worker offence should have been charged. There has been some pushback recently from the CPS that it should be ABH injuries or above.

Notwithstanding, the assault should have been charged whilst the suspect was in custody. Unfortunately that's on your force and the decision maker as there's no way that it's not a GAP case.

This defensive attitude is the wrong line to take. The BBC and the police are entirely different institutions and your average BBC employee has nowhere near the power over their fellow citizens that a police officer does.

Sepalous

This is exactly what is wrong with the Met; a lack of discipline.

I have been around for a long time in FLP for the Met and the TBL did not start out as a badge memorialising officers killed in the line of duty but a protest against austerity. Anything political or quasi- political is completely unacceptable on a police officer's uniform.

Indira Gandhi, the Indian prime minister, was assassinated by people in her security detail.

The media should honestly stop reporting everything that Elon tweets. It's destabilising and giving air to conspiracy theories.

Sepalous

No mention of the scourge that gangs and gang members like Chris Kaba are, predominantly, on the black community. Shameful.

Sepalous

Surprisingly strong defensive statement. I fear it may play into the ACAB crowd's hands though as it's clear from the video that none of the firearms officers are at risk of having their weapons taken from them.

I'm a PS, but I'm first contract trained.

Your job is to get the information out of the caller and pass it to dispatch as quickly and as accurately as possible. The top three skills I would say you need to succeed in the role are:

  • - Good active listening skills: You will deal with people in crisis and you need to pick out the parts which are relevant and record these

-- Good communication skills: understand what questions get information out of the caller. If you ask someone "tell me where you are", they may reply (unhelpfully) "Lambeth"; if you ask someone exactly where they are they'll (hopefully) say "Outside the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton". Ask questions about the information you need.

  • - Assertiveness: someone will be calling about someone else being stabbed and will start telling you about their day or go wildly off topic. Control the call and get it out quickly

Being a fast typer and good speller are also good qualities.

It's a important, underappreciated, but enjoyable role. Good luck.
