I’m inclined to agree with you. I only have one acid dipped meteorite and every meteorite has a different widmanstätten pattern because that pattern is formed as it falls through the atmosphere. The slight squizzliness looks more like a laser etch time, but I’m not even remotely a meteorite expert or geology expert. If it’s fake, it’s a convincing fake, but the widmanstatten lines don’t look like they were formed when falling to me. It’s not straight enough, too squiggly.

That looks like Blue Kazoo’s Moon puzzle. I love that brand of puzzles so much. They’re pricey, but very high quality. Their sales can be very good though, which helps a ton.

Shania Twain, Bring me Water. I heard the FoB song for the first time today and was singing the Shania Twain song over it. It wasn’t a perfect match, but it was surprisingly close. Made me wonder if they’re both tributing (so to speak) to another song or something

She does get a bit more self reliant and grows up a bit emotionally after she goes through several life experiences. She’s annoying the entire series, but I think she’s meant to be that way (like it’s related to her character flaws or something) but she is the most annoying in the beginning. By book 5 things are very different

I’ll second the Night Angel series. Kylar is fairly similar to Rezkin. I remember thinking about the Night Angel series a lot while reading KDT and ended up rereading it after finishing KDT. Both are great series

I am also reading The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson and it’s equally amazing, so I’ll add that to the recommended list. The main characters are nothing like Rezkin, but there are amazing twists and a unique magic system in a world nothing like anything else I’ve read.

Ok so I’m not crazy!! I thought I saw the same thing!! Even started relistening to Book 5 to start Book 6. I’m sorely disappointed in Amazon right now.

Literally started relistening to Book 5 yesterday because I was SO STOKED Book 6 was out…. And then I saw the preorder button and thought “nooooooo” dammit Amazon, don’t show me Audible as an option on the main page if it’s not out yet! It didn’t say Preorder on the Audible button on the Amazon website… I had to go to Audible to see it accurately. I feel lied to, Amazon. Grrr. Back to waiting….

I stopped going to DPX4 specifically because of this and because you can get sent out to like Buckeye. It’s insane. I live in San Tan Valley. I’d rather drive 50 miles to VAZ1, and drive all the way to Casa Grande and then back home than do a single route anywhere around ASU. HATE those key fob entry apartments!! The security is great I’m sure, but we don’t have access to that people!!! Last time I couldn’t get in, another tenant at least let me into the mailroom so I could mark it as “a secure mailroom” and left it on the trash can counter next to the trash can hole. I didn’t give AF after spending 15 min trying to access the building.

Unfortunately, if any of those people report their packages as lost or stolen, regardless of if they actually found it in the bush or not, you get dinged. I hate that I’m responsible for lost or stolen packages as long as I hid it, it’s not my fault a porch pirate was clever enough to look around. If I was lazy and left it in plain sight, then yeah, I’d consider myself responsible for that. We have to take pics for a reason. Amazon support sucks.

I just tried that and it didn’t work for me. It just made it so it didn’t recognize that I pressed the button, i.e. nothing happened. But at least it didn’t skip me to the next chapter! I am on IOS 17.2.1. Thanks for the suggestion though! It was worth a shot to try

I agree, OP! I am hoping they bring it back because I have to unlock the screen, open the app, and then hit rewind while driving if I miss part of my audiobook and that’s not safe! I was also listening to an audiobook today while cooking and had to keep washing my hands to freaking open my phone to open the app to rewind now 45 seconds because I couldn’t just rewind from the Lock Screen easily. Such a stupid change. Who out there actually wants to skip to the beginning of a chapter or start the entire podcast over instead of just going back 15 or 30 seconds?

It did not. It’s happened to my phone once since the update. And now I can’t fast forward or rewind a song on audiobook in the lock screen. It skips to the next song or chapter instead of the 30 second fast forward or rewind (mine was set to 15 seconds).

She used the government COVID rental assistance that’s still available in a limited capacity in my state.

Update #2

She applied for DES assistance for the back dated rent and got approved. I received the money the other day. She is employed full-time now so I’m not worried about not receiving October’s rent.

I also just received her 30-day notice this morning that she’ll be leaving, so I’ll prorate her October rent as part of our lease agreement since she put in her 30-day notice correctly per the agreement.

Yes, thankfully! She just got a part-time job this week. Her first day was yesterday, second day today, and so far things seem to be going well so we’ll see how it continues to go. She should be hearing back regarding the results of an interview for a full-time job tomorrow as well, so fingers crossed!
