Yeah that's at the Fabyan forest preserve, tucked into the woods next to the main house. I think that's the remnants of a fountain but I don't quite recall; there should be a (old, overgrown) sign nearby that explains it if I remember right.
SgtMalarkey
Yeah thats the studio set up in the basement. Works as a guest suite?
SgtMalarkey
I love the Galena Territory and regularly check the housing market there, hence finding this gem.
SgtMalarkey
The amount of house and amount of land for that price tag is weird to me. Like how has it been for sale for years now? If I was a mildly eccentric millionaire I would have scooped my bizarre Galena vacation home pretty fast.
SgtMalarkey
There's a guy that owns a bunch of the pods, if you go to Adepticon in Milwaukee or Gencon in Indianapolis he sets them up for those conventions. And I think that Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield has had them in the past too?

To add to this conversation, the Wicked and the Warped has some discussion about events that take place during the War in Heaven, which imply that Necron nobility maintained their own independent personalities. In fact, a Necron embarks on an expedition during the war without telling the Silent King, so Necrons could still defy Szararkh by withholding information at that point in time.
SgtMalarkey
Might be Crowley - I really enjoyed Oltyx's journey in TDK and all the work those books did to expand Necron society and personalities. The Infinite and the Divine is great of course, but TDK is really a book about the Necrons as a people, which I appreciate more.
Of course I havent read the Wicked and the Warped yet so maybe that'll change!

I love the Twice Dead King book designs the most, and the duology is probably my favorite Black Library story.

I went through the trouble to crop the image and then uploaded the wrong version. Llandu'gor help me.

This brilliant tactical redeployment opposite the front lines will put Cain in the position to destroy the enemies sudden and inexplicable flanking attack!
SgtMalarkey
Just about; I had to sand down some of the slots on the inside of the Chimera tracks to fit the kit. But Forgeworld resin is finicky regardless so...
And thanks, I got the idea for the drum from one of the salamander models they use in the Imperial Armor books.
SgtMalarkey
Yeah i guess its time vs cost - if you want to take the time to sculpt legs then why not
SgtMalarkey
Warlord Games has some 28mm cavalry spares for Black Powder. I took the rider bodies and chopped them at the waist to splice on my infantry torsoes, and then sanded down some of the side details on the legs like the swords. This will become an expensive endeavor if you want to make a lot of cav though.

I found an ARC in exactly this manner, not at all my genre but it was funny to see.

If that is the point of this post then I suggest the mod team created a curated, regularly maintained thread of all suspect or bad faith businesses with Guard related products, and pin that instead.
SgtMalarkey
Yes I think an official subreddit statement for this is completely unwarranted. This video does not in any way affect how I interact with this subreddit. The moderators should only be concerned in maintaining a healthy and diverse community; I don't see how taking this stance meaningfully accomplishes that.

Double Eagle and Interceptor City are his Aeronautica focused books, both are great reads.

Okay after 25 minutes endlessly refreshing I got an order confirmation for Rynn's World. Good Lord this is a particularly bad showing for them.
SgtMalarkey
Is the site completely shitting the bed for anyone else?

Considering the characterization of the Greavemind in the Halo trilogy, I honestly think it allowed Truth to die like that largely for the narrative climax of it all. The Gravemind is a brooding, poetic being - in Halo 3 its dialogue literally rhymes. The leader of the Covenant undone by his own instrument is a delicious arc that the Gravemind could simply have enjoyed watching.
So it delays to let the Arbiter get his revenge. It doesn't matter, right? It's not like these two squishy flesh bags could stop the Flood's apotheosis anyways...

I have a friend who adores Rynn's World, I think it was his first Warhammer novel. Hoping to pick up a copy for him!

I know that more than one book has been released focused on Red Dead Redemption 2. From my readings these are less focused on the history of games per say, but rather on the history portrayed in RDR2 and how it relates to the real world US at the turn of the century. Still interesting stuff to read.
I was an undergrad history major with an interest in games and I wrote more than one paper regarding the cross section of the two subjects. It can be a lot of fun! I think my favorite project was for a history of cartography course where I discussed the historiographical implications of grand strategy game maps, specifically in the Hearts of Iron series of games.
