I would not call it ignorance of basic biology, just a weighing of pros and cons. 9/10 times the aborter is doing the soon-to-be human a favour by ending things before they have the capacity to understand how terrible their life is (usually someone who makes this decision is in no position to raise a child). But this post is way too far, it’s people getting caught up in it all, not necessarily a fault of the movement itself, but of human nature to keep pushing and pushing until you stop being cheered on. Society has a lot more to worry about than a (relatively) small number of people posting on an internet forum about buying a game made from the creative image of a transphobic author. The fact that people like you exist today is actually a testament to the progression of society, not a collapse. The thing is, negative news sells better, and that makes it seem like we exist in a negative, horrible place. Society, my friend, has historically been much, much worse than it is today. Take solace in the fact that you are part of a new and growing movement that marks an improvement in society, rather than feeling beaten down by an attitude that is old and ingrained, and will be very difficult to uproot. We are fighting an uphill battle, but it’s super impressive the progress that has been made given the state of the news and media in general
