Interesting. I originally had it at 3 second exposure but my cubes of calibration where slightly too big to fit so I dialed it back and then my following prints were successful. I re-levelled so we'll see if that helps.

I'm having a bizarrely similar issue. Though mine is brand new and I've had very good prints. I thought it was bas supports since it first happened with a bed of very small models but then the same thing happened on a medium print and caused one of them to completely fail.

I think I'll just suck it up and throw down for the 4500 then.

This is my first real set up that isn't just some 2.1 bose system, so yeah I'm unsure about doing something like that without having the necessary skills/knowledge.

It's in the contract due to it being VA loan, it has a clause regarding appraisal value.

You bring up some good points, looking through the comps the houses around us are on average lower than 700k for similar builds. I'm not worried about having to re-sell the house, we've left a good amount of a net just in case with our finances. So honestly my biggest fear is i'm being oversold.

I mean finished basement sorry. I agree that cost does not equate value, but the huge variance is what concerns me. Our current house has similar upgrades and appraised higher than the sales cost when it was built.

Just to clarify, we are able to walk without losing our deposit. But yeah we are trying to work with them, they were initially very stubborn but I just want to go into this prepared.
