His yellow eyes are actually a skill perk named "Awakening" that he got in the sixth floor in Sword Art Online Progressive (Vol. 6). You can obtain it after the "Meditation" skill reach Lvl 500. Its activation depend in your willpower though, and can remove the paralysis debuff for a short amout of time.

It could be said that after Eugeo died, his great devotion to remain with Kirito managed to keep part of his consciousness within the broken Blue Rose Sword.

All this time Eugeo was next to Kirito protecting him while he was in a coma, until the moment came when Gabriel almost killed him and in that instant Eugeo takes his incorporeal form for a few seconds to rescue him.

Eugeo died in physical form but his being is still watching over the safety of Kirito, since he himself is the Blue Rose Sword.

I love Moon Cradle's Ronye. I took her a lot of affection after that arc.

The pacing of the chapter was perfect, it was not rushed at all. The last scene was correct as well, I believed that they would finish right at the moment when the duo were about to run to the another room but fortunately it was not like that. The next episode is the breaking point in Alicization, they will leave us with all the intensity for next week.

In a certain sense one of the strengths of Fairy Dance is that it had greater weight from the psychological aspect of the characters. It was a good read, but when A-1 Pictures adapted it, it lose that magic that gives us imagination. They also cut off lots of Suguha's inner thoughts and made her look like a spoiled child.

That moment when he confessed his feelings to Kazuto was very dramatic in the novel, while in the anime it was so simple... since there was a big hole between the event and the inner thoughts of Kazuto & Suguha in that critic time. In short Fairy Dance could be a great arc, but A-1 Pictures ruined it

Alice-chan is so bold

I think that Alicization had to ended at the end of Vol.14. I feel like the War of Underworld it wasn't that good as the previous battle against the Axiom Church.

This chapter was too beautiful, full of mixed emotions. They knew how to adapt it so well that it is so good like the light novel, although there were slightly unnecessary parts that were not showed but beyond that I greatly enjoyed the adaptation of the first volume, too much quality in the animation and they even knew how to portray violent scenes well. If that is how they did it I expect very good results from the other volumes because this fight against the goblins was the tip of the iceberg. The characterization of Eugeo going from being a wimp to a brave one was very well worked out as well, that moment when he saves Kirito had a greater impact in the anime (Kondo koso, boku ga mamoru da!) and it was perfect.

The truth is that I wasn't that excited about the adaptation since Kirito used his Dual Blades for the first time, they even added a remastered version of Swordland. That scene where Eugeo speaks with Selka promising to save Alice was totally original, which would come to replace the same moment in the novel where Kirito kisses Selka promising to go to the Central Cathedral to rescue Alice, it was a subtle but clever change, since in that way it makes Alicization a bit more serious.

But beyond all these minimal changes I really enjoyed being able to see it animated, it was also so cool to see the reaction of all people on this new arc that I'm already eager to see the other great moments of this story; it has only been four chapters and A-1 Pictures has been totally overcome. My expectations about Alicization grew with this last chapter. This adaptation is in good hands.

I wanted to see Kirito kissing Selka so badly, it's a shame they didn't adapted that :( But overall I love how A-1 Pictures is doing Alicization, such a great job

The opening presents Kirito's feelings about the beginning of a new journey with his best friend and companion. While the ending it is a clear allusion about how Eugeo feel'd during those six years after "That day".

I am very disappointed, they should have shown the revival of Hououin Kyouma right after the previous chapter but the staff decided to add such filler in this episode... And the worst thing is that Okabe was seen much less determined in the Anime compared to the visual novel during that moment.
