Been using Cursor for 1.5 years and I had advocated it for some time over CC. I just switched to CC. Cursor killed all it's advantages and now it's just a bad version of CC.

There is no job market. It's dead. There are thousands and thousands of people that will never get another job in the industry.
And it's not just software. Every white collar job will be automated. Software came first because it's the biggest focus by the AI. But I'd argue it's not the easiest one to automate. I guarantee most white collar jobs can be automated now but the companies are too slow to do it yet. Give it a few years.

My company has been ruthless with cuts. First they fired the entire QA department because AI can write tests better than they can. Then they fired the whole UX department because AI can generate designs better than they can. They've fired a lot of the support because AI agents don't have business hours.
Now they are getting engineers to build out their "software factory" so that the platform can code itself. I intentionally avoid doing this but there are plenty of brown nosers who are excited to automate themselves. I'll drag out as many months of salary as I can.

He's been replaced by Reilly and Valimaki with no noticeable difference. If he's as good as he thinks he is, he needs to actually prove it. I assume the bridges are burned here next year but we'll see what his true value is.

Not to be a dick because I agree with you, but I doubt they care about your $20 subscription. I'm on enterprise and I spend like $3k-5k a month on tokens. I'm not even close to being the highest user at my company. Your $20 is a drop in the bucket.
That said, I've also been working on switching to CC. All their focus is on Agent mode and it's still god awful. Composer is neglected, Grok has downgraded and is slow, no OpenAI models, and the third party model tax is BS. I switched to CC, ran the import skill/command and it pulled all my skills, MCPs, etc. Better yet, the plugin system works much better than Cursor's. The functionality of the app is overall better. The models do feel like they work better too.

Cary one here too and donuts are my go-to in their bakery. I like the apple cider one too, I can eat a whole box

Mercer is a 3rd liner who hasn't lived up to expectations. He's nothing like Stank or Blake. But he's definitely better than KK. We don't really have a direct comparison.
I wouldn't be surprised if our offer was something like KK + Nadeau + one of the goalies + similar picks and the Devils deal is definitely better.

Yes, a lot of them are still owned by the original families. Plantation owners were originally stripped of their land but then the federal government gave it all back. Then post-War racist policies were implemented to ensure that they were able to keep taking advantage of the former slaves, which kept the slaves and their descendants dependent on the land for much longer.
Even today, families of some of the larger plantations actively support white washing history to ensure their plantations are seen as a place to get married and not a place of cruelty.

The best filled donuts hands down

Not really any different than a Krispy Kreme fresh off the roller when the light is on. Shame those aren't free anymore. But you don't have to stand forever in a line.

Nah, his back foot was still on the line as the puck entered

There's not much interesting to see in the arena and it's even a bit of a mess now with all the construction. I'd spend more time tailgating and less time on the concourse. Then come in for warmups (usually 30 minutes before pick drop) and go down to the glass.

I thought the manager at the end was going to be Susan Dell

Reilly playoffs - 2 GP, 2 A, +2
Nikishin playoffs - 17 GP, 0 1 A, -1
Those don't tell a full picture of course, but if Nikishin thinks hes a top pairing defenseman then he needs to be better than being replaced by a 7D and no one really noties.

You need someone to explain to you how people don't agree with directly glamorizing the institution of the most heinous part of American history where millions of black people were mistreated, raped, and murdered?

It felt weird when I visited Charleston and went to some plantations hoping for a museum, memorials, some harsh realities, etc. Instead they were framed as beautiful gardens where you take your kids for a picnic or where you get married. Oh and there are some slave quarters hidden out of the way, but please just come to the petting zoo instead.

The popular Reddit tech communities mainly exist so that people can be negative about any new technology release

No problem! This project has been awesome! Amazing that you can build this and Nanit can't build anything close to as functional when they take money for it.

A lot of players use multiple gloves in a game but switch at intermissions. Ovechkin just switches more often. There are glove dryers in the locker rooms.

The Embassy Suites off Harrison Avenue? You'll be totally fine anywhere in Cary. You'd be fine even taking 40 to be honest but if you're in Cary you can probably avoid it.

Awesome! I had a fork going with some updates I made including making this self-hostable (I did build a pluggable storage layer as part of it). I have been running it for a couple of weeks on my home server and it works great! I will send some PRs over tonight.

Brind'Amour complained about the refs and dared to suggest that there should be a video ref reviewing plays and we had bad calls for years.

My studio has a small charge ($30). If you're not an unlimited member, you get unlimited classes which makes that a great deal. I am an unlimited member so it's eh. But we get some swag and there are good prizes at the end plus a party. It's a relatively small charge so I never really cared.

Does it really need to be rushed? You can easily seed into November here and be fine.
Some of the things I loved and how they've lost it:
There's some other stuff that's just been a consequence of models getting better than have leveled the playing field. Like Cursor used to have an advantage with its code base indexing in token efficiency and speed, but now models are great at grepping so that's not a differentiator anymore (as shown by Cursor removing it recently).
If they want to push me to an agent mode experience using a first party model then I'm just going to use Claude Code.
