You assume that nothing superior could replace it easily.

Most people say that about cocked and locked.
With a good holster, you can carry the P238 or P938 cocked and not locked. The SA trigger pull is heavy; about 8 pounds, so pretty safe.
SigmoidFreund
Get a Sig P238. You can use your current .380 in conjunction. The P238's are single action, 1911 style.

Sounds like he's got some serious personal boundaries problems.
Let me take a guess.... he's also very arrogant and vain?

OP - you clearly don't understand who Walmarts typical shopper demographic is, and how much profit Walmart hopes to reap from such actions.
If you think it's just altruistic, you are quite naive.

OMG this is gold. Haha.

I believe the last Eroticon was held there.
I went to a few others years before and they were held in various other places.

Nope. There isn't anything like that here in Bloomington. I suggest looking somewhere else or staying where you are.
Good luck!

Christian fundamentalism comes with negative sides effects. Caveat emptor.

Avoid Dr. Jeffrey Allen on South Henderson. Extremely high prices and watch out if you have a problem. Poor staff as well (unsurprisingly).

Get a shotty.
Problem solved.

So you have access to a computer and the internet, yet you seemingly haven't done any research on using a firearm for self-defense before coming here and asking for help?
Are you a toddler? It seems like you aren't, but then why are you acting like one? You aren't helpless, you know. If you need someone to hold your hand and tell you how these laws work, I suggest you get rid of your gun until you do some growing up.
SigmoidFreund
It seems like you are almost totally unaware of IL law concerning self-defense use of firearms, which makes me question whether you take firearms safety seriously, which makes me question whether you should even be considering using a gun for safety.

LCR 22
Heavy trigger = safe
Super easy to understand revolver action
No hammer to snag or mess with (hammer is internal)
Double action only = consistent
Changeable grips
Otherwise, a Beretta Minx, Bobcat or Tomcat

I've seen them sitting on the shelf in LGS's and big box stores next door in IN.
I suggest you try contacting a few other stores and if you find one, bite the bullet and pay the shipping to your LGS. If you get it from IN, at least you won't pay tax and it'll be just as fast.
Just a warning as well, if you shoot full power .40 out of that little gun, it's going to be pretty damn snappy. Fair warning.

Blomstedt's recording with SF is one of my favorite Brahms Requiem recordings. Worth checking out.

Am I the only one who thinks he could really have an O'Douls with this guy?

Do things which evoke specific emotions have no intrinsic value?
TIL that the SRS trolls hate guns as well...
