Sonos are great, my friend has them and I’ve always enjoyed them. I’m a little to obsessed with the gear side of things lol.
Signal-Rabbit-8155
Yeah that’s what was I was looking at, I’ll pick one up soon.
Signal-Rabbit-8155
Oh good to know, I’ll try them head on and see how they sound. Thanks.

Thank you very much!

I’ve been listening to vinyl on a all in one system for 2 years, I just got a raise and wanted to treat my self to a better listening experience.
I’ve been researching the best I can on the gear I want and different aspects of the hobby, but I knew once I had to put it together I’d need some help.
I’m comfortable enought to spend this amount on a new hobby, please don’t shame me for it. Thanks.

Not really lol. I just want to make sure I’m getting the best sound possible without interference, so I was wondering if it’s a normal thing on these higher end systems.
Signal-Rabbit-8155
The Nad came with ground wire and I have it all hooked up, but when I have the system on full volume, I still hear a faint buzzing. Is that normal or should it be completely silent ?
Signal-Rabbit-8155
Thanks so much for this, it’s working better, there’s still a slight buzz from my speakers. Any idea how I could fix this? Sorry for all the questions.
Signal-Rabbit-8155
Okay the music is coming out now lol! Thank you! There is still a slight buzzing when I stop my turn table, what could be causing that?
Signal-Rabbit-8155
Or just phono

Hi all,
I recently put together my first sound system, and when I went to play my first record, I was met with a pretty horrible humming sound. I’m also getting a rough, scratchy sound when I lower the stylus onto the record.
This is my first time putting together a system on my own, so I’m assuming I may have connected something incorrectly. Any help figuring out what could be causing this would be greatly appreciated. I’ve attached photos showing how I currently have everything connected.
My setup:
Technics SL-1500C
NAD C 3030, using the NAD’s phono stage
KEF Q Concerto Meta speakers
Nagaoka MP-200 cartridge
Thanks!

I think u got a good year left, if you want to get ahead of it, just shave it off. I think you will look good.

Thank you so much for this reply, I’ll take this into consideration when purchasing the final set up.
I begged my mom for this deck for like 5 months. Then I had to wait another month for shipping! Don’t think I’ve been as excited for a package since.
