Hi thanks for the reply. I’m very new to this I’m sorry for dumbing this down so much. So if it’s stable after drying, at 62%, only burp once/twice a day the first week to get the gas/moisture out? Then once/twice a week. How long do I burp them for?

So if I did the jar hygrometer test and they stabilized at 62% I could just throw em in these bags and not touch them at all for a few weeks? Then in that case the temp and humidity of the room would be important right?

Hi, I tried to but didn’t have a proper drying spot setup. My dad doesn’t like the smell at all so we were trying to figure out a drying spot outside. ( I grew it at his house, can’t at mine due to my lease) However it was super humid. It was in an outdoor shed at about 65% RH and 75° for a day and a half. Switched it to this room now. Had it hang drying in the outdoor spot, but saw one spot of bud rot so chopped off that entire branch and threw it away, then chopped down the plants to smaller branches and hung them that way. After that my dad said to just move them inside and obviously at that point there’s no going back when it’s already cut. Think I can salvage this dry?

Is this because I’m drying them on a rack instead of hanging? So, do you mean just put the entire branch in a paper bag and finish the dry that way up until cure?

Awesome, thanks is for your input! I am stressed about not getting bud rot as that is why I lost my plants before I could even dry last year. I did have a nug show a sign of it, dead brown leaf inside so I cut off that entire branch from the stem and tossed it. Do I just monitor to make sure nothing else rots now and hope for the best?

I was able to use a different room with better humidity. Sitting at like 55 but the temps are 75° f. Is this viable? It is a bit dusty in there tho, in that case, should I skip the bud wash in hopes of not getting the flowers dusty? It was grown outdoors

Thanks for the input! That’s what I had read but just wanted to make sure this was good. Any tips on drying in high humidity? If it’s possible? I can’t get my humidity below 75 at the moment, and that’s before plants will be in there.

That seems to be all I’m finding as well. As for the non jaws cover, I only seen one listing for 50$ on eBay for that virgin foil cover. Wasn’t a sold item so wasn’t sure what it’s actually worth. Appreciate your input!
