Simple_Somewhere7662
Also the bundle size is very lightweight. So every old version android can get it
Simple_Somewhere7662
ok but can those ad free apps do all this in one app lol
formats: pdf, epub, mobi, fb2, all the office stuff incl old doc/xls/ppt, odf, rtf, hwp/hwpx, djvu, chm, mhtml, markdown, html, csv as tables, ~100 code/text types, comics cbz/cbr/cb7, zip/7z/rar/tar even password ones, heic, avif, raw, tiff, svg, psd with layers, ai, eml/msg, ics, vcf, audio and video and the weird stuff nobody else bothers with: m3u/m3u8 playlists, lrc lyrics that sync to the song, srt/vtt/ass subs, sqlite dbs, jupyter notebooks, apk inspector, charx character cards, 3d cad files lol

widgets, reader themes, 15 languages and the ui is actually slick, not some 2014 file explorer lol. no ads, no data collected.
and more stuff i didnt mention XD
Simple_Somewhere7662
thanks man, really appreciate it. glad the Ui clicked for you
Simple_Somewhere7662
thanks! lmk if anything breaks lol
Simple_Somewhere7662
Stock apps cover the basics. Fileloom is one lightweight app for EPUB, comics, archives, HWP and more, with PDF annotations, Drive/OneDrive/WebDAV in the same place, and no ads. I think it's super fast too. I want u to try once and taste it
Simple_Somewhere7662
ikr? I went fully native on purpose so the app stays fast and efficient in every way
Simple_Somewhere7662
Oh you are right! Appreciate:)
Simple_Somewhere7662
I used Kotlin :)
Simple_Somewhere7662
LOL
Simple_Somewhere7662
What a nice suggestion, okay bro
Simple_Somewhere7662
I didn't open-source it yet, play store release only for now. I'm currently building for other platforms now(iOS, desktop)
Simple_Somewhere7662
thanks for the kind words :)

Yeah, I use AI tools for coding help. By day I’m a developer at a software security company, so I care a lot about how apps handle permissions, credentials, and user data. Fileloom is my side project: I design it, review the code, and ship every release after testing on my own devices.
I don’t collect or share your data. Files stay on the device unless you connect a cloud or WebDAV account yourself. Saved passwords go through Android Keystore. Happy to answer if something specific worries you. you can see through Google Play Store link that the Fileloom doesn't collect and doesn't share anything. your files are yours.

Fair point looking at the Play permission list. I don't use NFC in Fileloom at all. It got pulled in by the OneDrive sign-in library (MSAL → YubiKit). I'm stripping it out in the next update.
Simple_Somewhere7662
Thanks for da report bro, I'll look into it
Simple_Somewhere7662
I don't request NFC permission. If something's showing it on your device, that's not coming from Fileloom.

more sub $400 12 inch tablets is nice. hardware has been fine for years, apps actually using the screen is the part that lags
Simple_Somewhere7662
Thanks! Glad it’s useful :)
glad it helped! those kind of ads and banners are exactly why i made it lol, thanks for recommending it
