Tbh I'd rather see someone vibe code a utility they think is useful and share it with the community, than launch it as a paid subscription service or whatever. I've seen too many of those lately.

Skellicious

I've seen a collision in git commit shortened hashes, also 7 or 8 characters.

Tbh I wouldn't trust bunq with my money or my data.

Yeah all these reviews are like "we also got some resins to try including this expensive one" and "you can use these fancy containers to store them" when those come at additional cost.

(I did watch a couple of these reviews)

3) Buying a product with their own money does not remove all bias. There's many places that bias comes from.

It's definitely something to consider, even spending money or effort to obtain something for review could lead to biases.

Post-purchase rationalization (sometimes jokingly called "Buyer's Stockholm Syndrome"): after buying something, you play up its good points and play down its flaws so you don't have to admit it was a bad buy.

Never said EU is bad. I said that sometimes they push for bad things, which is very different

I think the EU doesn't push for bad things as much as they are made out to be. I'm not aware of any regulatory body that has done as much to protect consumers/ordinary people as the EU has.

But the eu government is a large complex multi layered democracy. And there are some problems within this democracy that can be abused.

For example, some bad actors (that probably sold out to their lobbyists) which evidently love mass surveillance are often putting bad initiatives on the agenda for the democracy to decide on. These tend to get voted out, but given enough proposals and ways to frame it some of these things have unfortunately slipped through.

Anyway, while the EU itself doesn't push for these things, it's has some problems and the assholes that do push for this stuff have found ways to abuse the system to try get the bad legislation through.

Skellicious

The eu has voted out chat control many times. I'd say that part of the democracy is working.

Unfortunately the lobby behind it is strong and it can seemingly be endlessly resubmitted for voting with minor adjustments. Id say that's definitely being abused, but that doesn't make the eu itself bad.

Maybe they're in a wheelchair after getting ran over 6 times in an hour in a Sam's club parking lot in Indiana.

Businesses these days operate on a "ask for forgiveness, not permission" strategy.

At best (almost) nobody discovers it, at worst it's a settlement or slap on the wrist fine.

Or you're openAI and you let your agents do the most lawless shit and use it for publicity/marketing your great models.

I've been wondering about magnetic trays for screw storage in general. Though non magnetic brass inserts will probably kill that idea for me.

AI assisted software engineering doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

I was looking around for this the other day

Everything I found either required an account or worse, subscription. The one free option I found didn't really get anything accurate (that was the one you found too I suppose).

I think vibe coding something and making it available to a community is one of the better uses of AI, but unfortunately anyone that did this so far has seemingly just done it for the money. I'm well aware hosting isn't free but it's disappointing regardless.

Anyway, I asked Claude and had some usable SVG/STL after a few minutes.

As evidenced by this post I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. If there's demand I can see about vibe coding it into an open source script or webtool to offer for free.

Edit: the free tool I found (that OP mentioned too) is actually open source. If I can find why it failed for me maybe I'll see about contributing or giving some feedback.

Since they cross layer lines they could be VFAs/vertical fine artifacts.

This video does a good job explaining where they can come from. https://youtu.be/ZrW8OfJ_UOo?si=7AYCYlSNHP4ctXlb

evaluateAndExecuteFilterOperationOnTargetObjectPayload()

This breaks single responsibility principe, please have your agent fix it, we only accept clean, SOLID adhering code here.

I've had my CC2C for a couple weeks now. Good quality out of the box, next to no tuning. Coming up on 70h of printing with basically no issues.

If packages go missing, your neighbors who ordered them should reach out to whatever webstore they ordered at.

The webstore has the delivery responsibility, and outsources it to the delivery company. They have actual leverage.

I'm not a lawyer, but this is how it tends to work in the Netherlands, and I'd be surprised if it's that much different here.

I got a set of inserts + soldering iron with tips off Amazon for like 25 euro.

Used it for the first time this week and works great

Look up the hole size you need, the temperature to set it at, and just slowly push it in

Skellicious

Knife collectors/enjoyers would probably love this, most others probably wouldn't care for it or wouldn't like it.

Skellicious

For me moving to Germany from the Netherlands the taxes were the hardest thing to figure out. Do consider getting an advisor on that front.

Skellicious

I still feel like I end up with a new .net install every other time I install a new game.

Skellicious

People and bots don't care what sub something is posted to. The most irrelevant stuff can go r/all on any big sub if the post has enough broad audience appeal (or botted voting)

Skellicious

Some parties are shifting further right to capture more voters from the social media bot farm affected people.

Skellicious

Red flags are just flags if you view someone with rose colored glasses.

Read that somewhere before but never seen an example explained this well.

Skellicious

I've had so many calls where the other dev figured it out while he was still explaining it to me.

Skellicious

For the next few years definitely.

But there's also a massive manufacturing increase happening right now that will likely end up overshooting demand (from what I've picked up regarding relevant infrastructure during previous market bubbles)

Though there's a possibility that's wishful thinking.
