Wait 15 minutes for the student. If absent, reschedule. Select "Student asked to cancel/reschedule." Then block them. The class disappears from your schedule and your metrics

AI has definitely hurt the language teaching market in terms of students who just want better written communication. It is infinitely easier to plug a memo into ChatGPT than to spend months learning grammar and vocabulary.

However, that is just one part of teaching English. There are also students who want to do presentations, engage in meetings, and pass classes in high school and university. If you have skills, experience, and are prepared to be flexible enough to meet the requirements of a platform, you can do very well.

Message your student and tell them that the ratings system treats 5 stars as "normal", and anything less than 5 stars as "terrible". Further explain that anything less than 5 stars is extremely harmful to your ability to attract new students. Good luck!

There are a lot of people in the PI who still support that president. I don't speak on political matters, but I will say that I hope things continue to improve here.

I am on Leyte. I have a sister in law on Mindanao with her husband and 2 kids. I'd love to go visit them but they are in the south and the wife has nixed it. The major cities there are great though, especially Davao. If you are riding beware, it's about a 3 month learning curve to pick up the local traffic culture.

So long as you keep the air intake above water you're good. 2 weeks ago we had a lot of flooding on my island and I was taking our scooters and big bikes around no problem. At one point I had a kid on a scooter who pretty much drowned me passing on the right. Joke was on him though, as I passed him ten minutes later pushing his bike. Remember, scooter air intake is on the left, and if that gets swamped, you are in for a bad time. =)

I live in a rural area on another island and most political representatives (mayors, barangay captains) have armored vehicles. There are frequent politically motivated killings here, along with drug related murders.

GOT has comedy in it as well. Dolorous Ed's dry humor, Podrick's alluded to sexual prowess, or Tyrion's oft repeated but never completed "I once walked into a brothel with a honeycomb and a jackass...". I think you're going to see large shifts in the tone once the violence starts.

If it uses replaceable coils, you might do yourself a favour and look at an RTA like a Dead Rabbit or Thundercloud. Rebuilding saves you a lot of money and allows you to fine tune to your own tastes.
