Almost as if there is a sizable portion of the player base that disagrees with the statement ‘Classic is about the journey.’
Yeah, maybe it was the first time around. However, right now, I want to get this leveling over with and get to raiding. I have no desire to do a single quest or to gold farm. I’m not alone. Look at all the people that dungeon grinded their way to 60 and then again to 70. It was way more common than in 2021, and it will be even more so in Classic Plus.

Retail is an unrecognizable mess that I don’t care to spend any time trying to figure out, let alone actually do the content.
You’re just going to have to accept the fact that the behavior of the average Classic WoW consumer has changed dramatically over the years. Blizzard trying to double down and take away GDKPs and mage boosting isn’t going to stop that underlying behavior.
