Glad they removed them slowly.

I'll suss that out. Sounds good.
Slapping_kangaroo
Yep. Seemed rigged at times.

I really love my Pard Pantera 640 LRF. Paid around $3K. I have multiple Pard scopes in NV as well. Great value and never had any issues.

What the flock?
Slapping_kangaroo
Mazda bait. What you use to catch a Mazda.

My $30 bush bag. Bag $8 from Ali express. Sand $10 and perlite $12 from Bunnings. Obviously dry the sand out first. 25% perlite. It's heavy but I'm not carrying it around. I chuck it in the back of my SxS when in use. Put it back in my gun room to keep it dry.

PlayStatic. A very attractive watch

I reckon a lot of these things probably happened that way. Someone noticed something had changed, tasted it and thought, “Well, that's interesting.”
At the risk of experts crucifying me..this is my crude advice.RE:malting. I don't really follow one particular source. A lot of YouTube and Google will help you. However, I do it in manageable batches. Clean first then steep for 4 to 6 hours. Drain for 4 to 6 hours. Steep again for 4 to 6 hours. Then drain and place in containers and germinate in temp controlled freezer/fridge with grain bed no more than 6cm. 10 kg at a time is plenty. This Normally takes 7 days at 13⁰C while spraying water and turning twice a day. When you start to see a shoots extending past the grain it's time to dry. The main thing is having enough drying space. There's no point germinating 20 kg if you've only got enough room to spread 10 kg out properly to dry. For your first batch I'd keep it simple. Once it's well developed, dry it gently to preserve the enzymes. 24 hours at 30 to 40⁰C. Then raise the temp to say 90⁰C for 2 hours. And keep some of that first batch aside as your control malt. Then you can start experimenting with different drying temperatures and specialty malts. That's where it gets really interesting. I'm loving crystal malt where you stew the green malt before you dry and toast it.
Sorry for metric numbers...

Fair enough. I make my own malt, so I should have worded that better, as I know wet grain won't make beer. I was more interested in the “we knew how to do it for thousands of years before we knew why it worked” bit. Look forward to your book

What stock you thinking and where from? I'm considering a new stock too. Something a bit more tactical.

Savage MK II 22. Still have it. Super accurate bush basher. Since set up with NV Scope with LRF.

Sounds like his name was Mark.

Righto... a mob of tailless roos. Now that's a good pub story. 🍺😂 🍻

How many beers have you had, mate? 😄🍺 There's four back legs there and no thick long tails

100%. They do make cool floor mats in a man cave. So not gone to waste.

Yes. I tan their pelts. There is (was) a bounty for their scalps in Vic too. I appreciate them but they kill our wildlife.

4 + (3x2 + 22/2 + 3) = 24

I'm 52 and recently bought the new C64 Ultimate after 40+ years away from the C64.
For me, it's not just about playing old games. I'm learning BASIC again, experimenting with sprites, and working towards creating my own games.
That's the real attraction for me. I love the idea of being able to create something myself, starting with nothing but a few lines of code and turning it into something I can actually play.
Could I do it on an emulator? Sure. But I'd rather do it on the actual machine. 😊
