Some photos are improved or made valuable with more in-depth editing. Others are great with no changes at all. Entirely up to you to decide what you want to make and how you want to make it. Would you consider a shoot with 5 flashes as "editing gone too far"?

Common on Windows. You should reinstall your OS. Or get Linux on there instead.

No it will not convert to methanol. People drink ancient wines all the time.

worthless. Scrap lead is estimated at $0.50 per pound. I'd bring it to a dump for proper disposal (it's toxic)

I think stand users get tired when they use their stand. In reality it would just be a burger reactor. Food ain't cheap.

I work in a ceramics lab. We have furnaces that go to 1500. Tube furnace would be perfect for this, so you can flow oxygen free gas over it

But can't get past one thing: if something exists but doesn't produce the signals we're looking for, or produces evidence we don't know how to interpret, how would we ever know we're missing it?
This is a core concept of the scientific method. We can only prove positive ideas, not disprove negative ideas. If we somehow built a telescope that detects across the entire electromagnetic spectrum we might find nothing. And you could not be satisfied that we found no aliens. What if the aliens don't emit any light at all, or live underground?
Telescopes and other instruments are designed to detect specific things which we imagine are important, based on previous studies. On earth we found that radio waves are a great way to communicate over long distances, so we imagine the same is true for some alien race. We built huge radio observatories. And so far nothing has been seen.
