There should be a sensor on the inside of the door sill, make sure that the bolt on it is tight. I had this problem and it turns out it was just faulty grounding on this from the bolt being loose

Hey! still on my I7 haha

I'm looking to record the sound of my car because I work in Post audio, and was wondering if there would be any issues with running the car for maybe 30minutes without the axleback connected. Or really should I use a track pipe out the back.

I would say an increase in the quality of tools is one of the major reasons production sound can still be used these days. Stuff like RX makes it so you can actually fix a file that would have absolutely needed ADR in the past.

We've also gotten better at processing Adr'd Dia to make it fit into scenes.

If I am planning on installing the Edelbrock supercharger down the line. could I go with this one now, and then use it with the supercharger too?

Edit: I did read your post on ft86club that says it will fit with the edelbrock, just wanted to make sure there isn't an issue installing it before.

When getting started on sound design for a game, where do you generally go for inspiration? (Talking about before there is animation or anything in game)

Do you generally build some ideas from concept art and talking to the dev? Do you look at stylistically similar games to see what has been done? Is there anything you do that might be considered unique in the inspiration process?

If it's only in the soundcloud version it could be clipping, if you're too close to 0 the data compression that is being applied can cause clipping.

I don't really know about the search functions cause I use search everything if I need to find something, but I've been using resonic, it's so fast and lightweight the only problem is you can't add tags easily with it. But it definitely makes up for that in speed of playback
