Went all in on making sure Creek will be able to kill Nathan, no matter how you class change him between chapters

The Tellius two. so I can have the QoL of skipping enemy turns, which can be an eternity, and so they can give Radiant Dawn actual supports please, like they did in SoV

My first part 2 was comical for it. Like 14 people together, teaming up to kill a golem, heal each other because no one could rough it alone, full-on in it together team, and then out running up the stairs alone is Dietrich dodging ranged strikes teleporting with a Levin Sword, a crit heal gem and Ever-Vigilant, soloing golems and taking on the bosses alone.

Spent like 2.5-3 years injured basically constantly. so it feels bad to banter him, then by the time he was available you forget he cost a ransom and a half. It's not like there's been a shortage of Chelsea players in the meanwhile that were both healthy and awful

For my experience most of the Monogatari arcs, all except maybe 3 left their biggest mark in the final third of it; the one exception you have seen beng Tsubasa Cat where episode 2/the Date episode was the one that made it, so i'd say always be ready for an arc to run it back. There's a lot of video essays on this series, a few I've seen on this arc in particular, and written some reflection on it myself, though I'd say see how it sits with you first. Though for me this is an arc where I was so thoroughly swept up on my first watch I couldn't even sleep without seeing it through, so I'm heavily, unabashedly biased.

I imagine you're using the game8 page? There's a community spreadsheet that has what every character learns and at what ranks. I believe Build/Build+ are universal A and S+ learns, but I didn't use many armours.
For my part Ninae was best as a Fortress Knight, who could be Guardian for Physic. A dedicated Mage Killer, who more often than not was healing someone who acted before her. Before she reached her final class Ninae's use was being an unbreakable dual-defense wall if Armoured, or a pretty bulky one when Guardian that healed.

Gotcha, just figured it best to ask for clarification first.
For my part I'd say I found Tsubasa Tiger to be in my top 4 arcs in the whole series and is an all-timer for me; coming from a background where I really relate to and identify with Hanekawa in this arc. For me the series got great at episode 12 of Bake, and Second Season was great from the jump, particularly the end of Tsubasa Tiger 4 and all of 5. Comparatively, since I saw your comment on loving it, Kizu's in about 6th using only the arcs you have seen to this point, so our tastes are quite different.

Solid-Comment1803

By Season 2 are you saying Nisemonogatari and watching Karen Bee, or Second Season/Tsubasa Tiger?
For clarity, typically when people speak of 'Second Season' being better it's because of the Book 'Seasons'. So while the anime goes Bakemonogari->Kizumonogatari->Nisemonogatari->Neko Black, that sequence all falls under the umbrella of First Season, rather than say Bake as Season 1, Kizu as movies, Nise as Season 2 Neko Kuro as S3.

That's really interesting to hear about the song, I'll have to link a friend of mine up with it since he really loved Steins;Gate himself, though I've not really interacted with that fandom since S;G0 was airing back in College, so my memory on how it all intersects isn't as precise as it could be. Singer sounds familiar so I've probably heard them elsewhere.

While I'm rewatching the AMV, probably my favourite sequence is around the 4-minute mark; I quite like the effect of the overlapping audio.

Perhaps inevitably, it was that trio of Hanekawa, Sodachi and,Senjougahara that are my three top characters, with Nadeko lock-and-step in the running. challenging Sodachi for third. I look at Zoku's Sodachi situation in a similar light to how I look at the idea of a Hanekawa x Araragi future, where we can see how Zokudachi looks, but there's something a little discordant about her, like we saw in Kabuki with older Mayoi where she's not 'our' Mayoi, but Araragi wants to make the world she lived a good one. There's something warm that makes it all the cold seeing it, like a lot of things re: Araragi it's a kind sentiment, but it's not how the deck was shuffled, nor how the hand was played; how much change does it take to no longer be identifiably the same person?

There's definitely divergence points you can muse with this series, beyond things like the aforementioned if Sodachi's youth situation was altered. For instance, if we don't have Araragi dating Senjougahara, Kanbaru doesn't go after him, and thus Araragi doesn't later go the shrine with her to place the talisman as compensation for the Rainy Devil case, thus he wouldn't re-encounter Nadeko. If I remember right, she may have ended up dying to the twin snakes constricting her, so she may not have had other opportunities. Both of those also being arcs where Hanekawa's stress was slow-boiling as Araragi asks about romance I believe in the former, and Hanekawa leans in for a kiss before telling him how it's dangerous being so kind in Nadeko Snake. Their relationship is lode-bearing for so much, though I do enjoy musing hypotheticals; since it wouldn't be completely out the question for Kanbaru to still go after in jealousy to facilitate the rest of Bake.

I do think the series does get richer each time I see it; I've been blessed with the opportunity to watch it 3 times in full with different people over the past 18 months, and have been doing weekly arc write-ups the past couple months, so the series is relatively fresh to me, so my novel exposure is more limited. I appreciate it's difficult to find time, especially with there being so much content. I do think it's worth mentioning that the Neko Shiro BD I believe it was, came with special audio of Hanekawa's VA reading the opening monologue for Neko White and Hanekawa's Letter, the latter of which is quite extensive, about 44 minutes long(?), for whenever you get to read that novel.

I love talking about my hyperfixations, and Monogatari has been a really special one for me, so I'm riding it out

It's really flavourful having the cut-ins, though on some level now the actual subtitles when they're present are the cut-ins and the cut-ins are the subtitles now, but I find it really charming. The watermarks aren't a dealbreaker all-in-all even if a tidied up version would be cleaner, I think the important thing is the moments are thoughtfully chosen, and you did great on that front.

Solid-Comment1803

A pleasure to meet your acquaintance.
I quite like how it came out honestly; particularly the use of the blink-and-you-miss-them-cards, those parts came out very elegantly, 'Silence', and the visual scribble in particular. If I were to have a favourite part, well I've always been a sucker for AMVs having dialogue as part of them, so ending with Tadaima's peak fiction in my eyes. If I were to have a minor complaint, there's a couple watermarks, namely anime animepahe (eg 2:12) in the top left corner and aniplex in bottom right that can be a little distracting ,.

I'm happy you were able to get out of it. Enemy Masking I don't think helps reduce Hitboxes, but I feel like it was more easy to see them with it being bright blue, though I wasn't able to make it past them myself. I'm relieved your 100 hours wasn't all for naught.

Solid-Comment1803

Good luck figuring something out. If worst comes to worst, there's probably an annoying, hours long way to fish for the 2 crits needed with the restored HP from the Heal Spot (like 24 HP each~?), the 4 Heal Uses, Dew of Protection, 2+ Vulnerary uses , waiting with whomever has most defense and the 4 Miasmas. It's not what I'd like to be doing, but it's probably more realistic than running around the enemy unless you find a way to clip out of bounds then to the exit zone
As an aside I checked the enemy masking, and think the enemies are infinitely more horrifying with the masking on.

When we have access for him he'll be insane, he's a theorycrafting dream, and when we're able to rear him earlier for speed he'll be excellent as a Dodgetank that gives up 6~ hp for 30 Avo. as an example. But. I remember being so underwhelmed looking at his stats when he first joined, he just joins after a bit too much is deficient for me to be happy with him. Of the Sub-Lords only Orchel really justified her Deployment slot to me and was what I'd call a pretty good unit, because it's hard to mess up a healer with a 3 Range Chip-damage option.

Solid-Comment1803

Blade - Dietrich
Calamity - Inyoni (had to grind her up specifically because no one else was getting S Bows)
Trident - Esmeralda
Apsara - Ursula
Eternal - Noctula
Godhand - Theodora (I did War Monk Theodora0
Avatar - Olympia
Cavalier - Ninae (It was left over and she's been just about everything for me, so sure, why not)

Solid-Comment1803

I'll have to call it quits here. If you have the stomach for it, the food and 4 Miasmas might be able to get a result if you pull through. Potentially could use wait until you find turns the 7%~ crits happen, but even if I could run past it which I can't, that wouldn't really help you get past it either. I tried things like saving with it aggroed and seeing if I could run past when loading back in to see if it would help me with getting past but to no avail, but maybe that can help you? I'm sorry I couldn't do more.

Solid-Comment1803

To go over I've got 2 Meat next to the Rest Spot, one Linaria to the Chest room on the right of that spot. a second Linaria north of the rest spot if you follow the right hall there's another breakable that has it. At least for mine

Solid-Comment1803

Would a second Linaria/Two more uses of Miasma change the math? I managed to get 2 Linaria 2 Meat

Solid-Comment1803

I'll see if I can figure something out/keep trying the dodge route.

Solid-Comment1803

Did you save inside the dungeon, I went back to the title screen without saving if you've not and got the chance to re-equip

Solid-Comment1803

If this is doable it's tight. I found one Linaria in the Dungeon

Solid-Comment1803

Is this one of those clashes that you can mass try skipping?
Do you have any Black/White Magic Manuals, or maybe something to eat at the Dungeon's Heal Spot?
Edit: I'll use my other profile to try and simulate getting into this situation and see if I can figure something

Solid-Comment1803

I'm in Love with the Villainess brought me immense personal joy both in dub and in sub and was a massive hyperfixation of mine for a while. It's LN Source Material but the Manga will be approaching its end soon

Solid-Comment1803

I took the time to give it a look, and I think it's a great edit so I gave it a like, the song in particular captures a lot of what I'd like to say, like the issue of their pedestals brings, how a life by her side would be looking up, not forward, how there's answers he doesn't want to know like with her family.

Once you've rewatched I'd be happy debate further, whether it's about Hanekawa-Araragi as opposed to Senjougahara-Araragi; whether the changes needed for Hanekawa-Araragi could just as well facilitated Sodachi-Araragi, or debate the idea that a friend like Senjougahara is more important than a romantic partner for where she is.
