EAC has an ARM64 build (fun fact: the code virtualization they use seems to be very similar on x64 and ARM64). I think a bit of the support issues other solutions are having is having to figure out code obfuscation for ARM64

Harry generally stays in Chicago, doesn’t he?
Also given his chronic lack of knowledge and preparation I wouldn’t give him particularly good odds against unfamiliar supernatural creatures.
SomeoneTrading
Just another volunteer VACNET tester conducting routine testing of Donald’s masterwork.

Once you have a couple of hundred years under your belt you use your trickle of power more effectively than a Harry Dresden uses his flood
This does not seem to apply to immortals or near-immortals, who seem to still be dogshit at magic despite having all the time in the world to learn some. See: all the Red Court lol, all the Black Court lol, all the Denarians with the sole exception of Namshiel+Marcone
In addition, there is WoG that you can gain more magical power through Darkhallow-like rites, bargaining with supernatural entities or just straight up eating wizards.

There's a reason why every major malware/virus hasn't had to have the user install a driver first in order to work
Because driver signing is a thing and it's kind of a problem to get your driver signed, especially these days. I mean malware is adopting BYOVD too (about 10 years after game cheats/anticheat knew about it, but that's malware and antimalware for you, shit's 10 years behind at all times)
SomeoneTrading
Easy Anti Cheat is notoriously garbage and not even close to as effective as Valorants AC
They can write their own SOTA code obfuscation unlike Riot and mister Bastian tho and they don't fail at hiding imports
SomeoneTrading
Valve probably has literally zero game security engineers so there’s nobody to fire outside of a certain very special individual

If Intel really wanted to they could probably start doing static binary rewriting. Not like the tech to rewrite really complex binaries (for example) does not exist.
Maybe Intel will contribute to make LLVM nicer for binary rewriter purposes too :D
SomeoneTrading
Those utilized an ability to set arbitrary clantags with no relation to Steam group ones. I don’t think the same thing exists in CS2, but I’m sure Donald will add it for the most dedicated VACNET testers.

Hello Donald!
While I am a very big fan of your work (not doing jackshit for 10+ years and chilling on the yacht while tweaking your serverside script once in a blue moon and making ragers pay 300USD to get green trust, truly aspirational), have you ever considered utilizing an anticheat made by people that give a shit?
SomeoneTrading
Meanwhile Riot/Epic/EA hire people like everdox or 0AVX w/ seemingly (at least according to LinkedIn) little “real job” experience and enjoy having functional products.
I mean, none of them have reached the genius of Donald McDonald who made semiragers donate 300+$ to Gaben for “permagreen” trust.

Well, they could do surgery and dance back in those days too
‘I am filled with exhilaration by this opportunity to complete my experiment at last!’ declared the voice. ‘Existence has been a mite tedious lately, even with all my knives to appreciate and their histories to recall. How shall I best demonstrate my enthusiasm? Have you had opportunity to admire the sand dancers of Darvash?’
The dreadnought began to turn. It stomped around in a circle, picking up speed.
The reinforced floor reverberated thunderously as the killing machine whirled, stamping its feet. It was dancing gargantuanly and grotesquely. Its massive steel arms rose like burly wings. The power fist pointed one way. The assault cannon, the other. Let the dreadnought not open fire over the heads of the three stunned spectators while it gyrated around, or they would be deafened, then disabled by the ricocheting spray. Extended, the steel whips lashed the air. The dreadnought was a monstrous animated idol. Surely they must be its worshippers.
Perhaps this bizarre display was a warning that the dreadnought was by no means cumbersome. Or else it was proof that Tarik Ziz was deranged.

I think the main reason is they don’t have the expertise - game security is a genuinely hard task and they’d need to poach skilled people like every other game company does. I also get the vibe Valve doesn’t want to maintain anticheat team like other game companies do or pay for third party middleware.
OFC without poaching they could half-ass something that’d probably kill a bunch of payhacks, but given Valve’s competence it’d probably be bugcheck generator too
For what it’s worth: given Steam service transitioned to 64-bit a while ago and VAC3 hasn’t been updated in a while, are modules even being sent on games other than CS2 that rely on VAC for cheat detection (they aren’t being sent on CS2)? Is Valve scamming other companies? Disregard that - Steam service still seems to be 32bit? Must have misheard.
SomeoneTrading
There are some libraries to lift x86-64 to LLVM IR (this particular one is geared for obfuscation/deobfuscation purposes I feel).

Astra also has a similar problem to Fable of extremely sensitive guardrails - though at least you can sorta-continue the conversation after the cybersec guardrails hit. Delegating considerable amount of work to subagents and only using Astra for coordination/planning helps a bit.

To think that Valve could kill 99.99% of cheats via simply filling a form at https://www.easy.ac/licensing, paying Epic some money and integrating a relatively trivially integrable SDK. Re: Linux support - EAC has a Linux build and 99% of cheaters probably wouldn’t switch OS so it doesn’t really matter that it’s weaker especially for Valve, besides it’d still be an improvement compared to the current state of things.
This would handily remove 99.99% of “legit” cheaters from the game and fairly effectively contain hvhers to their own gayclubs. You could even keep VACnet to make John McDonald happy on his yacht.
Instead we have what we have, where payhacks seem to compete on UX. What a game, huh?

If I mod in a new hairstyle for fem V, I elected to do it using CDPR-provided mod tools
WolvenKit is for the most part thirdparty and if you're actively adding any resource instead of just replacing you're using psiberx's reversing work via ArchiveXL because CDPR didn't actually do anything to allow you to utilize new resources
So I'm not sure how CDPR's half-assed "mod support" enters the equation

Depending on motherboard and you liking a bit of odds of bricking 10 year old HW (and motherboard VRM quality as well I guess), you should actually be able to put a 8700K/9900K into that 6600K build, no?
SomeoneTrading
The intended usecase of the tool is using AI for automated reversing and giving it a better interface to rev tool than MCP.

The author is extremely knowledgeable about rev too. Shit, I even own a book by this guy

You mean the extra Chinese memory that’ll be going to power the Chinese models?

I mean, in Aug 2025 LLMs were already able to do some shit. Capabilities have significantly improved since then.

It’d probably depend on if Horus can pop the supergod switch whenever he feels like it or if it has conditions like Terra being mostly Warp-consumed. If he can just go supergod and locks in, the loyalists lose.

I'd go for someone with a higher AoE for blaster ranking over Flechette. While you don't wanna get hit by Sting for sure, for your average cape what difference does it make over being hit by some rando blaster?
