Blast Corps deserves to be talked about so much more than it is. A truly unique game and I am perpetually shocked I haven't seen more games steal from it over the past 25 years. I know there are other games where you destroy stuff in vehicles but theres nothing I'm aware of that captures the same combination of joy and tension that Blast Corps exudes.

Also the bonus missions at the end with wacky low gravity physics are an absolute blast to play. A shame they are hidden behind the entire rest of the game.

Yes this has been happening to me on PC for update 5.54, 5.53, and I think at least one more patch before that (I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure this didn't happen on the initial 5.5 release).

Happens every single time, regardless of by what method the sentinel ground forces are triggered.

Sentinel waves proceed normally until Level 5, final Walker never spawns, and the only way to end the Sentinel alert is to takeoff and hope you aren't bugged out of getting to Level 5 with the Interceptors so that a Sentinel Capital ship can spawn (otherwise entering the Anomaly or leaving the system works as normal).

Sometimes it seems like the Level 5 Walker does spawn to some extent, but is somehow invisible and/or glitched below ground level into the terrain. The "Searching/Detected" mechanic still triggers if you leave the area and return, and once I even got an enemy location marker that was underneath me.

Hi, another thread archeologist here. Your confusion comes from the OP being an obstinate, massive dickhead. Dude tries to act like he's the chill and reasonable one, but balks and talks down in a backhanded way to every single response trying to help him. The use case he was insisting on was silly. He should just get a dedicated power supply instead of a battery, and/or just unplug power from the damn thing if he "can't rely on software". In another thread about Lizalfos tails, someone came back with an edit to say they thought they had figured out that the drop rate is affected by the number of Lizalfos tails already in your inventory. Use them or sell off what you don't need, and the drop rate will go back up.

I haven't tried to confirm this yet so it might be bunk, but just mentioning it in case, because it sounds plausible.

It works both ways. If you find the Hylia Chasm first, then the lightroot exists as a clue to the shrine above, which would clue you in to the whirlpool if you hadn't already seen it (or hadn't done the Zora quest and already used a whirlpool).

By default, Knockout is a Free For All mode, yes? Just by the fact that every player in the match could be playing by themselves? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ALLOW PARTIES? Like, literally the only thing thats going to happen is the party is going to gang up on everyone else first. I know its only a temp mode, but it really should have been either FFA only or a 4v4 mode. How did they not see how shitty this would be for people playing by themselves?

Whats an example of a type of clamp that is suited to the job? Its looking like it may come down to rigging a solution with the broken cable thats already in place.

Im basically just working with some screwdrivers, pliers, and a socket set, plus whatever hardware I can pick up by walking an hour to home depot, or ordering off of amazon prime. Luckily the spot where the cable is broken is just a couple inches in front of the throttle with a straight shot over the engine, so clearance for hardware is not as much of an issue as it would be elsewhere.

The fact that he's not trying to explain how magnets work is the entire point. He's trying to teach how our own knowledge contextualizes our understanding of science.

edit: nevermind, found the blog post that says they are going to full capacity in July. "In accordance with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines, face masks will be optional for guests who are fully vaccinated. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, face masks will be required throughout the theater unless actively enjoying food or drinks in your seat."

I just passed 1001 today too! Congrats. For anyone looking for what to study, I can now say with confidence that the practice tests on examcompass.com were the best by far in terms of representing how the multiple choice questions are worded and which material they might cover.

For studying, I watched the Mike Myers video series, took notes, and took free practice exams. I ended up getting an 810, even though I was NOT confident once I started the exam. The questions are worded in a really confusing way, and you need to pay attention to the ALL CAPS words in the question. As far as what to memorize, I would say the one thing that would have really helped me rack up some extra points that I'm sure I got wrong were PORT NUMBERS. Oh yeah, and know your printer stuff up and down.

I think of it more as Maniac = Eternal Sunshine + Quantum Leap + some goofy animated sci-fi workplace show like Futurama or Sealab.

I've had a couple pairs for like 10 years and they are still going strong. Great for working out, camping, long days on your feet, etc. Looser than standard boxer briefs for sure, kind of halfway between boxer briefs and regular boxers, but the fabric is fantastic. I just bought some more now, so we'll see how they compare. Also - DONT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER.

I saw it happen once. Was driving that stretch late at night, literally only one other car on the road. I see, so the edge of the fan fits behind your IO shield? Yeah I dont know about Intel, but every other B550/X570 mITX board I've seen besides yours has a boxy built in IO shield that would block a 120mm fan. Just wanted to clear this up for other people stumbling across this thread like I did.
