Unless you get physically filthy, washing every day removes the natural oils your body produces that help encourage healthy skin and hair.

I personally wash every evening before bed and my hair every other day with soap specifically fortified with vitamins to help fortify what body needs and with admittedly good genetics and plenty of sunshine, I'm nearing middle age with thick hair and a relatively youthful complexion.

As a guy I don't obsess over my looks but I also have enough self respect not to smell like I just spent the day working on my vehicles, which is quite often.

Do you also measure in bald eagles per football field?

If equally qualified candidates for the position you're asking for are "a dime a dozen" then you don't have the justification of setting the bar high to begin with.
