Who is we?

I think there are people on the left that would like to enact broader changes but those aren’t possible without support at a higher level which we definitely don’t have right now. We recently underwent one of the highest cuts to federal funding that would usually be appropriated to states, and Minnesota was targeted extra hard. Conservatives want to kneecap social programs that help people and then laugh when those same programs are ineffective due to insufficient funding.

I’m pretty sure the people like you who have legitimate grievances are not the same as the trolls who come in to these threads to laugh at the lefties for trying to give away food. It sucks that people are hand-waving your complaints. People deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods, and creating a better social safety net would help the neighbors as well as people in crisis.
