Before I got diagnosed I was realativeky healthy due to working in construction but literally over night I couldn’t walk up stairs the pain in my quads and knees was something I’ve never experienced laid up in bed for days before the symptoms went away on their own then a few months later I was officially diagnosed with graves, to this day I’ve never had the same thing but occasionally my quads start hurting up and it’s painful to crouch down or go up stairs hoping you have a speedy recovery and can finally get out into the world again soon there’s nothing worse than feeling isolated but hopefully you have a network of people to call on that can help you wishing you all the best :)

When I got diagnosed I’d left it too long (typical male I’ll be fine) and I lost a lot of weight went to doctors on worried family members concerns and had bloods done then I was called into hospital 2 days later and diagnosed, initially they told me graves affects more women than men so me being a man was different but I was initially on 50mg carbinazole and 80mg propranolol first week was rough and the first month was even rougher I work in construction and had no strength I couldn’t lift even the lightest stuff so I was stationed on gate duty for 2 months while the job finished. It wasn’t until the 2nd month my heart rate went back to normal ranges but laying down at night I could still feel it as if it wasn’t symptoms came on pretty quick over the 2 month period from eye disease to brittle bones but I was still working for most of this time but now I’m still on carbinazole 5 years later with my thyroid never going into remission I struggle with taking tablets on time early on and slow to no tracking from the hospital/doctors it’s taken a while to get any progress going but during my initial diagnosis I was told I can take 12-18 months for the tablets to run their course and that if not surgery was always an option should they deem it fit that I needed it they spoke about the iodine treatment aswell. I recently moved to a new area with my gf so I had to go through the process of setting up my thyroid treatment and the doctors/hospital for my referrals I haven’t seen the consultant yet but I’m guessing because I have eye disease and I’ve been on carbizole for 5 years this coming February that surgery is what they will recommend to me and at this point I’m ready for it, read a couple of success stories on here and it puts things into perspective you don’t feel like yourself anymore and the thyroid tiredness and low drive becomes your normal but if you’re looking after yourself and taking your meds it can go into remission but it will always have a chance of coming back which is why for me I’d rather go the surgery route so I don’t have to worry about that anymore plus the longer it goes on your thyroid can just burn out and stop working on its own but that’s in extreme cases, I’m looking forward to the next steps for me like trying for a baby with my gf since graves lowers your fertility in both men and women so once it’s fixed I’m very excited for what’s ahead.

It’s a long road to recovery and some days you won’t feel like doing anything like going out or even going to your check ups and the thyroid storms will kick your ass if you develop eye disease but force yourself to go and get it sorted sooner rather than later with going to your check ups and blood test don’t put them off and I’m sure in about a year you’ll feel more like your old self once your levels have stabilized and you can choose to do whatever at that point it’s always best to go into remission because surgery or iodine treatment and the last resort but doctors as a whole will tell you the worst case scenario to prepare you for it if it ever comes to that but exhaust all options before coming to that and who knows in a years time you might be ready to have your thyroid removed but look into what happens after for both remission and surgery before you get to that point to better understand it and don’t be afraid to as the doctors any questions because they’re there to help at the end of the day best of luck to you on your journey!

I’ve been on and off for about 5 years with doses going from low to high and vice versa it wasn’t until I spoke to my consultant that I realised in men the thyroid hormone kills the male sperm producing one so while your ejaculate can seem normal/watery sperm concentration is low and mobility and morphology are all terrible so out of 2 million sperm 1 might be okay do chances of conception are very low

Spellers569

Thank you that’s great to hear

Spellers569

Yeah as a man before I was diagnosed I was roughly 12 stone and within month I’d dropped so around 7 nothing but skin and swollen eyes puffy and swollen cheeks the same aswell, still the same 4 years later as my doctors are terrible at rectifying it but weight is back but grave symptoms are still going strong

Spellers569

Well apparently it’s quite common in men that while having Graves’ disease the hormone that controls sperm production slows down a lot so your sperm count lowers significantly I told her it’s not impossible to get pregnant but chances are extremely low

I think I beat sebulba second try after failing a run 3-4 times before act 2 I completed first try and thought wow this game got easy then act 3…oh my god I must’ve done 10+ runs I’m not even joking trapped in hell while sebulba waited for me at the end of every planet like some ominous presence waiting for me to fail and try again.

Sometimes a game isn’t for everyone and that’s okay me I personally hated gears 2 multiplayer could not even get into it when it first come out but I had a buddy who used to love it so for that reason I used to play with him and in the end I ended up getting to grips with it, honestly sometimes things happen and stuff just clicks but if you don’t want to try now then you can always come back to it in the future.

Spellers569

It’s the Unreal engine 5 specs most games use it now and you don’t need a beast of a rig to use it you just a basic spec pc ssd, ram and a graphics card with space on it to crank up the settings I know everyone can’t afford to upgrade their pc when they want but it might be a true hardware issue instead of a graphical issue for you since you already said you’re running a 3 series but your system itself might not be able to cope.

Spellers569

It’s UE5 brother and 3080 in triple A gaming is going to get you below 60fps now even the 4 series are struggling I’ve got a 5070 and even that struggles with some sections and I’ve got a mix of high to medium settings games today are built for the 5 series cards so if you can I’d think about updating your rig before complaining about performance because that is a user issue not a game issue.

Spellers569

It’s people just stirring up hate for no reason the best one I’ve seen is that Mags has asthma but she doesn’t if you actually play the game you find out she has rustlung which is already established in the lore before E-Day and it’s from the fumes in the imulsion factories.

Honestly it’s just people hating without even playing the game same as any other crowd next big title releases they’ll be all over that. Stay of socials and don’t let it bother you.

Spellers569

Yeah same here I joined a game in progress got on the raven and extracted didn’t even fire my guns and got full rewards lol I’m not complaining, but that shouldn’t happen

Spellers569

Yes you can play together from
The start the game loads into a lobby and you guys can choose which characters to be if you wanted you don’t have to play as Marcus and Dom (but for a first play through I like being Marcus or Dom) hope this helps

Spellers569

Every gears game you’ll get smoked the first couple matches before you get up to speed but it’s super easy to pick up gears 3 was where I found my home PvP wise but after playing e day beta and now the PvP honestly it’s really good gnasher is king obviously but you can lancer people down aswell now all weapons are viable which is good

Gigginox

Spellers569

Gigginox is just a poor man’s Plesioth some people have never been hip checked and it shows.

On another note gigginox is fucking ass and anyone wanting this back is either joining the bandwagon or has never fought it. The fight is dogshit, weapons and armour dogshit nothing about this monster even warrants an include in these games. If it was to ever be added it would be oh wow this is gigginox and then it would never be fought again and anyone claiming otherwise is a liar because once you fight it that’s it there’s nothing bringing you back to fight it again it’s fight is boring as hell and if you enjoy standing while this noodle fuck is crawling on the ceiling then well done you because I ain’t sitting there waiting for it to come down so I can smash is wriggly little body into bits. There’s nothing interesting about this creature other than the fact it hasn’t been brought into 5th gen like a lot of monsters in the roster but no one’s crying over gendrome not being added because they’re literally the same tier of monster, which is fucking useless in the meta of sets and weapons or even useful full stop. People need to stop pissing a shitting over a fucking L tier monster and get a grip.

Spellers569

lol gigginox bro is such a boring fight armour is ass too there’s no plus side to it being back like I too want variety but gigginox won’t come back until next generation most likely same with other monsters

Spellers569

Well they gotta eat something I suppose maybe they’re really against vegetarian food?

Spellers569

They’re literally the same weapon in wilds and rise break minus the wire bug effects in wilds lol

Spellers569

Anyone who captures is too much of a pussy to commit to badass end screen shot of you slicing the monsters head off. Facts.

Unless the quest is specifically a capture quest

Spellers569

Glad people can enjoy it for me it doesn’t feel remotely close to a monster hunter which I think is what puts me off the fight for both savage and normal as a whole, also locking great swords most damaging build behind this was a terrible idea and I hope it doesn’t return in G rank.

For me the final fantasy bloat is real and it’s something I’ve never gotten into as a player but everything I play lately has some form of it in there and having friends who enjoy it and harp on about fucking chocabo’s is what’s really sending me over the edge with it all tbh having a friend who’s the stereo typical weeb/otaku who never baths or showers is what’s ruined it for me I guess it looks like I’m flaming my friend here and I probably am but bro is in his 40’s and looks like a discord mod and I think that whole situation has ruined anything to do with final fantasy for me.

Spellers569

So you’ve never seen the phase 2 transition when it shoots skipping fireballs across the arena like crimson fatalis? Okay bro…

2 Gore 3 Gog roll gogpocalypse on your weapon for 4 piece gog bonus and slot coalescence for frenzy cure from gore pieces will net you a massive element damage increase or use 2 piece mizu with coalescence slotted to pros bubbly dance and cure it for coalescence buff difference being you need to attack the monster to cure frenzy with gore pieces with mizu you need to roll 3 times to trigger bubbly dance
