AI is such an overblown topic. What are you afraid about AI?

Your job? Their movement manipulation is so far away from being human-like outside of special niche settings. Once AI can do plumbing is the day we should be worried, but as far as I know, there's nothing in the AI industry working on that.

How about information gathering? They do that pretty decently, but we've also had search engines for a few decades now. Their information tends to also run astray and and pick up on other propagated AI info vomit. They need constant 'factory resets' to continue the cycle of informative to false information as they have no fact checking in a sea of AI slop.

I am worried about the future generations of humanity substituting AI for their critical thinking. You hear stories about college and lower grades using AI to write their essays or get their answers and you have people asking grok about something being true, etc. However, that's more so the fault of the human rather than the AI.

The only truly frightening thing is how AI can be used to further the police state we are heading into, and I would dare argue that this administration is aiming for exactly that.

What do you expect from the worst person in the position with that credibility. I do expect more plans that will flop to fix his initial flop(s). I don’t think he’s done the worst he could yet.
