I taught my cat some commands that he sort of follows. When I feed him his wet at night I can tell him to sit and he does it immediately or after a dozen times.

I also taught him 'up' and 'down'/'no'.

I make specific clicking/whistling noise when im looking for him in or outside and he comes running with his mew mew mews.

My cat legit made the same sound as a crow one time when a bunch of them were on the neighbors bldg and he was staring them down from the window. It was crazy af.

Ive seen it and ive lived many places. Maybe recently its less common because instacart and doordash. I basically never get groceries because i work at a restaraunt and get free food or just eat out.
