I saw something where the persons theory is that the Fadens basically reality warp and that after their separation, Dylan essentially transformed Darling into an abusive drunk like the father in Ordinary. Not sure if I agree with it, but if it is retconned to be true that Darling basically is a victim of reality manipulation, It would make sense.

But as of right now, all my homies hate Darling, it's on sight no doubt.

This is often my favorite aspect of a game that actually draws me in. I am very much a "oooo a piece of candy" gamer, but this story kept pulling me back. I got bodied more by mobs than by bosses because I'm bad.
