I’m right with you. I got my 02 for 5200$ with 152k. Even with a few grand for power steering pump, timing belt, etc you’re not gonna get anything more reliable for 8k especially 6 cylinder and can tow. But if you don’t need v6 or towing, you can get an old Corolla or crv for a few grand less still equally reliable

Usually new manufactured homes in the 200k range are built with 2x6 exterior walls. Thicker floor framing etc.
