In this day and age men being flirtatious is socially unacceptable unless they are in the top 5% of the male population. 95% of men aren’t in that population so a lot of insecurity is baked into cultural norms right now.

Someone like yourself who should be getting copious amounts of attention sees little, which in turn makes you feel insecure. The pendulum has swung in the opposite direction socially. The ball is now in women’s court. Unfortunately that means you have to adapt by putting yourself out there first despite the fairness of it all.

So to that end I’d say you need to rate yourself in this social environment, there are tons of good men out there scared to take the risk; it’s not a man’s world anymore. Find your own self worth and project it as confidence.

Keep taking progress pictures, be consistent in both documenting the changes and working out. Congratulations on 30 days consistency! Time flies so just keep up the good work. You’re going to be looking at 1-2 pounds of muscle a month for year 1 as a novice. Just remember you’re training your entire body to achieve those gains and not all of them will go to your biceps! It’s why I have mad respect for people who are natural non-roid jacked. That multi year, sometimes multi decade consistency. Make it a part of your identity and don’t stop lifting

I’ve been through extreme trauma in my life, emotionally abusive mother, physically abusive father, broken home, bullied in school, shit on by women, military trauma, death, my sisters suicide, my wife’s rape… it doesn’t stop. But I will tell you at 37 I do have some trauma wisdom for you. Do not act off of emotions, it doesn’t matter how mad you are, how justified you feel in your actions, give your emotions time to breath. The world has shit on you like it’s shit on me but the thing you have to learn is to insert micro transactions of happiness into your life. I’ve spent the longest time with major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder, and PTSD. The only thing that has helped is doing small things to raise your mood over time. Doing one big thing isn’t going to help; it’s a process that takes time. You’ve been beat down over time and now your baseline happiness is really low. Invest the effort in yourself, cut the others out. Surround yourself with people you respect and admire. Do not let the self righteous pricks and assholes of the world to win, Do small things in repetition and create your happiness. Over time you’ll find yourself smiling more, happy, and more importantly you’ll learn the most important skill in life: emotional intelligence. Be a good person, lean into it, be good to those that have been good you and tell the rest to fuck off.
