Notably, you have yet to reply to the more relevant part of this entire exchange, which is me explaining why you can't read. For someone who's so concerned about quashing ignorance and promoting reading, you don't seem all that interested in doing either of those things yourself. 

Joker's monologue at the end of The Killing Joke is a perfectly tragic-comic summary of how that similarity works. There's a lot of dialogue leading up to it that can be found here, but the end of it is:

In the animated adaptation, Joker actually stops laughing at the end while Batman's laugh keeps going for a little longer; this, coupled with Batman holding Joker by the shoulders, led to the fan theory that Batman actually kills Joker off-screen at this point, because he accepts the point of Joker's monologue, that Joker is impossible to rehabilitate and he'll keep causing death and chaos and fighting with Batman as long as he can, and Batman would have to be crazy to think that Joker can be saved.
