That's very kind of you. For your medication side effects, it's unfortunately very common to have awful symptoms up to 3 months after starting them, and expect some of those to come back when going off them. The lorazepam helps them be more tolerable.
As long as you're taking the lorazepam as you need it and plan to stop, it doesn't become addictive. I had to take it daily for months, cut down to eventually now taking it only when I absolutely need to, which is maybe once a year. Use it as needed and not as an easy way to numb feelings and you'll be fine.
I've always said mental health is in the blood-letting days of medicine. It is just a bunch of take this, did it work? No? Ok try this one. If you don't want to take the meds, don't. Discuss with a doctor the proper way to get off then though first.
A lot of people do not like the way meds make them feel longterm. Typically it makes the funny not as funny, the exciting not as exciting and the bad not as bad. It's a trade off. Personally I'll take never feeling excitement again if it means not going through what I was. So I'm ok with the trade.
I hope you find treatment that works best for you

I've been to a couple Toronto wards but none in Brampton, but the issues persist there as well. Here are some of my thoughts on this write-up.
Not being fed properly or at all is absolutely disgraceful and a failure of every single person at that hospital. This should have never been ignored or shrugged off.
Waiting in the hall is due to lack of funding and increased mental health cases, at CAMH it was about 7 hours of waiting room, then I was put in a side interview room with a gurney and a light that didn't turn off for 24 hours.
Patients crying and screaming is just the reality of those with brain health issues. They have every right to be there as you do, even if it makes you (you being the writer) uncomfortable. In a better world with better funding, it would be great to have wards divided based on level of care or type of care needed but that's not possible at this time.
My first ward stay was near Halloween and someone decided Chucky was a good after lights off watching experience. With other patients yelling threats and screaming- it set an awful mood. Then there's 1 tv to several patients and that just creates a fight.
Phones is also based on wards. My first ward they were not allowed, my second ward was less chaotic and phones were allowed but not the chargers, so you had to keep bugging the staff at the booth to plug in your phone. Since I was volunteering admission the first time, I googled things to bring to a ward and it mentioned writing numbers in a book and bringing a novel. This is apparently common across wards in North America. Which is probably again due to budgets
Seeing the psychiatrist I believe is also a time delay due to lack of funding. I remember finally seeing one, we were in a tiny room with a box fan and the doctor didn't even have enough space to place his computer mouse down on his provided desk. A full on educated, experienced doctor was even subjected to the terrible funding issues in their work.
Mental health is absolutely starved for funding and I think this write-up is directed towards the wrong people

Could it be the outer layer of a silicone spatula? Could be used for beauty supplies like face cream or cooking depending on what soap scent it is?

I had random men ask me to go to "hang outs" when waiting for public transit when I was 14-16 and I look younger than I am. I think this stuff is far more common than anyone realizes

It needs a doctor referral, I had a walk in clinic doctor refer me. Then you get a phone call from CAMH to book an appointment there you fill out a few questionnaires and forms, then you get another phone call later based on what they think would be best for you based on your answers. And then they set you up with your treatment plan/class and a clinician (experiences may differ, this was how it went with me from 2018-)

I took panic disorder therapy at CAMH. It was a group class of about 10, where they teach you how the symptoms work and why. Then you do homework (with some in class activities) that create the same feelings a panic attack triggers.
It changed my life. It was science based, real numbers and real results. The tools I learned there have helped me pull out of many would-be attacks and I have even used the tools to help a few others pull out of theirs. You just need to get a doctor to send a referral into CAMH to get the process started

I totally forgot about all the sweeping I used to do with my mini poodle because he was flaking everywhere. He was getting frequent ear infections, so we had the drops, he was eating kangaroo, and also getting the pyoderma shampoo.
We finally tested him for hypothyroidism and it came back confirmed so we started giving him the new medications with the food and shampoo and after a couple weeks, I brought him back to the vet for a blood test. He wobbled and collapsed on the way home. Took to emergency vet and he died two days later. The emergency vet thinks he died from toxic shock syndrome, his body was fighting for so long against the infections and I guess we were too late on the hypothyroidism diagnosis.
I just always recommend now to get it tested when there's skin issues that's having trouble solving. My boy was only 6 years old and I don't want anyone else to have the same experience
Edit- I should note the hypothyroidism was making it so his body was struggling to defeat the infection which is why it was the important final key diagnosis

Well if you get a job at the humane society you'll get a discount. Other than being a vet yourself, I think that's the only way to get it cheaper than 220.
Many vets charge 100 just to see them, the 220 is incredibly cheap considering it's surgery

I would try a flea comb. I know they're not fleas! But the close together prongs will work well for grabbing the litter particles.
As for the actual issue, a heavier and larger grain as suggested earlier is likely the easiest option. I also wonder if having it sit longer before cycling might have everything absorb a bit better and be less sticky on the globe when it's dumping
Hope you find your solution

But if you're on ODSP or Ontario works you have to give up all banking information, confirm you haven't left the province in the last month(ODSP only), show evidence of monthly income and spending, go in person to a government official, ask for permission to get things like glasses, show evidence of job search attempts (ow only), pay back any extra income earned over a limit and be told to get a job by the Premier
And then somehow the solution to all of this was to just cut OSAP to everyone eligible in the province. 🤷♀️

I think a big issue is running for politics is a job in its self and so you are only really getting people who can afford to not work a full time job, real estate agents, retirees, the already wealthy. While it doesn't mean those individuals wouldn't be a good leader, it does cut out a large portion of the population from even getting started.
Maybe I'm talking out my ass, im just tired of Bramptons leaders looking for the immediate payoff and leaving all the problems with the next generation to deal with. And I'm tired of the same ol' type of politicians

If you're looking for closest to Chinese food, Vietnamese fried rice is pretty similar and crispy noodles stir fry probably your second closest. Both delicious.
If you're looking for Vietnamese the first would obviously be pho. Probably beef pho since it's pretty popular. Their food is surprisingly healthy, usually a protein, rice noodle/rice and shredded lettuce mix. Fish sauce (it's more mild than it sounds) with a little sugar I believe is the sauce to flavor the noodles and salad.
