Plenty of people play the game solo. I personally prefer a duo or trio, but that's just me.

I have one, it is not potato. It's one of the best intel CPU's you can buy. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a fool.

That said, you should have ZERO issues running this game assuming you have 16-32GB of RAM. I run with a 12700k, a much older GPU, and 32GB of DDR4 3600 RAM and have no problems at 1440p.
