I have more of an issue with you saying Amharas are or were oppressed, that’s all. Doesn’t mean Oromos never did anything bad to Amharas, doesn’t mean they didn’t conquer many other groups who have now assimilated into oromo culture, but Amharas were never and are not oppressed in Ethiopia, Africa. They are the OG colonizers and every other group can vouch for that including Oromos. You can say that these Amharas were attacked, ok, and that’s wrong. But this isn’t targeting orthodox christians specifically, and this isn’t targeting Amharas specifically.

Also, Oromos more than any other group from what I hear get the most shit talked about them. Just as a people, I’ve heard some racist ass shit from fellow habeshas about oromo people’s origins, backgrounds, beliefs. The type of stuff you can tell people just regurgitate generation after generation without taking the time to get to know any oromo.

But Amharas are not and were never oppressed in Ethiopia. Let’s not act like israHell and pretend one group of people are historically or presently victims when they never were.
