Capital One now owns Discover. I only know this because I logged into my Discover account to check my balance and it redirected me to my Capital One app.

Between slices of bread.

Etymology: Named after John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich (an 18th-century English diplomat), who popularized the style of eating meat between slices of bread.

First Recorded Use: The term entered the English language around 1762. [1, 2, 3]

Has anyone ever ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich?

Stylewhat37

No. A hotdog is more similar to a sub or hogie or whatever you call it regionally. Split bun with ingredients stuffed in but still connected. A sandwich is two separate pieces of bread with ingredients between them.

My wife and I have a combined gross income of about $80k. We do okay. Heads just a little above water. Another $15k a year and we’d be in a pretty comfortable spot.

Stylewhat37

That’s the way you do it 🤷‍♂️

Stylewhat37

I’ll check when I get back in there. Hopefully something cool to report

Stylewhat37

I honestly couldn’t tell you if there’s anything in it. You can’t reach it without standing on something. There’s a chance something got put in there in the seven years I’ve lived here. Now I’m getting curious.

Cigarettes

A shitty sheet of plywood? 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been taking it for a few years along with lamictal. It’s been the best combination I’ve ever tried. Never had any side effects

I got an instapot as a gift. It sat in it’s box in my cabinet for about 5 years. Finally my wife took it to work because she’d actually use it there.

Two sugar free redbulls and a pack of cigarettes on my way to work every day.

The world needs more Ray Wylie Hubbard. And more Robert Earl Keen

My wife and I have joint checking/savings. We also both have our own credit cards.

I typically like it. As long as someone isn’t being judgy about it. I am tired of “what does that one mean?” There’s like thirty of them, they don’t all mean something. The conversation is usually with other tattooed people so it’s mostly about artists and styles.

More than a couple times I’ve driven a few hours to try a new BBQ joint.

Something like a wooden tongue depressor in my mouth. Even thinking that texture on my tongue is making me cringe. I know it’s a weird one.

Aside from meth, we’ve got moonshine and pepperoni rolls

My wife and I worked for the same company when Covid first hit. Both of our workplaces closed on the same day and we both applied. We were making more money in unemployment than we were working full time.

Stylewhat37

Absolutely. I’ve ended up doing the brakes on so many friends cars.

Stylewhat37

I always wonder what kind of place people work where you bring your own tongs and whisk?

Stylewhat37

Same. I worked there for 3 years. Couldn’t take it anymore. Booked every drs appointment my wife and I needed, let the insurance cover it and left.
