I haven’t looked in a few months but the price on real PEQ-2 units was pretty reasonable. If you can swing it, get a real one even if you don’t have NV. It’s still a cool piece and I don’t think you’d regret it. Treat yourself. You’re worth it!

My first AR was a ban-era Bushmaster XM15-E2S with a fixed tele stock, A2 upper, semi BCG and pinned mini-y comp. I put a Tasco red dot on the carry handle and thought I was the absolute shit.
All that to say; you’re doing considerably better than I was with my first rifle.

Yeah. This was just to hold me over until they sell those. I wish Lancer would make 8” rails, but they don’t seem interested in making MCX rails after Sig changed the receivers in a fairly short amount of time.

I think bro just had material removed where ai circled. I don’t think much needed to be removed. I don’t remember hearing any other differences between Gen 1 and 2.

Yes. I have an Altrd and a Space Magic rail. I just took those pics now. Any other angle you want? I did cut 2” off the front, but still have the piece.

Delivered June of ‘22.
The Gen 2 was a little different in that it allowed the Kate Moss stock to lay flat.
