He is basically in charge of the section. I forget the proper term, but something like employee in charge. He is well trained in safety and in charge of any activity in the specific area. I mean like anyone working within the right of way or within the limits of "fouling the tracks". Yes they do take it very seriously.way too many people die. I do not work for a railroad but went through the mandatory training for three of them so we could do work on and around the tracks

I made it a rule not to believe one brand made the best tools all around . I was a carpenter. Over the course of my career in that field, I found Vaughn made the best hammers, Stanley the best tape measures, skil the best power saws, etc. although Milwaukee saws are very good. And what were you using the hammer on? Waffle heads are only designed to use on nails (sinkers or coated nails, so they don't slip off), which are fairly soft. Even at that the waffle will wear down over time

Cool, a roach clip🤣🤣
SubstantialBrick2557
They are used in dog training now. And we had them as toys in the 1950s. Although sgaped and painted like a bug
SubstantialBrick2557
Didn't it folks used to wear a grounding strap when working on PCs?
SubstantialBrick2557
Thanks, and at that point I was just a beginner, so maybe he didn't want to go to far all at once!

Wow, great explanation for us laymen. Thank you very much.
My father who was an electrician, when trying to explain just how electricity works to me when young and confused, would say, it's just like water running through a hose!! Because at the time I only knew about cars with positive and negative, and very confused about this area!
SubstantialBrick2557
Oh I agree with you there. Like yeti coolers
SubstantialBrick2557
Everyone needs that quality! Cheap tools just cause more damage and cost you hours trying to fix it . As my grandfather used to say, do it once do it right. Applies to tools, but it once and it will last a lifetime
SubstantialBrick2557
Good idea. With cordless vacuums, tools etc. Would be nice to have closet outlets
SubstantialBrick2557
You know by the time the fireman can figure out which key the building would be toast

I believe another name for them is carriage bolts. Um, you can use them for anything you want. They work on metal best because under the rounded head is a section that is square that fits into square hole in the metal piece which of course jeeps it from turning.
SubstantialBrick2557
Yeah, so no plan set? For both to look at? Yeah, new backsplash. That is just incredibly stupid on the tile folks. Hope he used a decent company that just had dumb employees. But you said it. Why didn't they (tile) notify the owner?
SubstantialBrick2557
Stove bolts. Yes they will work. Although designed to to fit into metal with a square hole. Use stainless steel, a star or lock washer on the bottom, and it won't drive up
SubstantialBrick2557
Neither here nor there, but my dad was an electrician the first 1/2 of his career. Did a lot of work around the house. Whenever he used a wirenut he would also tape it with elec.tape. even in the box.
SubstantialBrick2557
Was waiting for that. Actually years ago a marine mechanic told me to do both. Expand it with heat then freeze. That was for exhaust manifold bolts so don't know if would work here. But it worked

205 is another story . The rifle should be secured so it wouldn't be bouncing around inside. And sitting like this at freeway speeds? As was said, one pothole or swerve, and he goes flying, with rifle bouncing around after he hits the ground. Last, I believe law enforcement is bound by the same traffic laws unless on a specific call

Have a craftsman 3/8 rachet that is over 45 years old. Still works fine
SubstantialBrick2557
The F and G are too far apart for MFG. I would go with you first remark about FG REED
SubstantialBrick2557
Trust your wife
SubstantialBrick2557
And I can assure you all of them are high quality steel that holds an edge
SubstantialBrick2557
Cleaning staff don't care much anymore as the hotels keep finding ways to minimize their work so they get more profit. You know, like not changing sheets and towels unless you request, in the guise of saving water, or cleaning your room only once every 3 days
SubstantialBrick2557
Should be illegal. Discrimination. Have never been a regular there, never liked their meat and dairy. And yeah their regular pricing had always been much higher since they started the member thing. I remember way back when still got weekly flyer in newspaper they were doing that.
SubstantialBrick2557
Because as I used to call things like that secret plumber tools. How they stay in business
Wait do I see 86 47 in those scratches?
