There's 20 or so that hang out at Ryan Elementary in Lafayette. I see them before school starts then they go into the neighborhood or along Coal Creek trail

SurroundTiny

The people criticizing them aren't morally consistent themselves. They are only concerned about their particular victims groups. There are millions of people facing famine in Africa, millions of Muslims in reeducation camps in China, thousands or tens of thousands of people in the US languishing in DHS prisons - for those people not a peep.

I think that the Dems get the House but most of the Senate races are all within the polling margin of error so who knows?

I can understand voting for him once but not after he established a body of work

Homeschooled my daughter because the local middle school sucked. She went to college a year early. She's doing a one year Masters in Cambridge, UK ..

Or political party

They are not fans of change

The amendment will affect any business above the threshold so no shock

Eisenhower served on his staff for a few years. He referred to the period as, "Studying dramatics under MacArthur".

There aren't 60000 people in Erie and if you don't want the roads clogged by people driving into Boulder try building housing. Quit whining

I am not going to dispute your numbers as I see no reason to doubt most of the countries reporting but I have to point out - that is a drawback of most or all of these comparisons, the countries self report. For instance the Chinese numbers for people in prison gloss over the 2M Uyghers and other Muslims. Similarly, US numbers probably don't include people detained while they go through deportation hearings but it certainly sounds like prison to me . North Korea claims near 100 percent literacy but they count knowing the leader's name and being able to repeat party slogans as achieving literacy. Most defectors can read and write simple Korean but that's about it

it's only 60 K if the person made high wages throughout their career and waited as long as they could ( 70 years of age ) to retire. The average payout is more like 2K or 2.5K month

SurroundTiny

You do get more for more earnings but there is actually a max on it

More like an hour with Claude or Cursor these days

The article said that Russia and China hadn't indicated one way or the other whether they supported him or not. It's just as likely to be Trump dreaming again

Coyotes have expanded their range because of humans

Sorry for that. I can't imagine what it was like trying to surrender even under 'calm' circumstances let alone in combat situations. There was probably always someone ready to take it out on the prisoners. ( I don't mean to sound like I'm making excuses, I'm not ).

My father was a combat engineer in WW2 ( in the US Army). He was in the Ardennes fighting among other places. After the SS machine - gunned a group of US soldiers at Malmedy the Germans had zero chance of surrendering

Well many redditors do.

As other people mentioned the great depression was a big factor, so was the flu epidemic after WW1. Many of these men had it as an infant or young child. My father got it in his early teens and lost most of his hair as a result. The draft was a boon to future studies of the flu. Inductees who had it were a little smaller and a little lower on the IQ scale. Also slightly more likely to have been arrested. My dad was a combat engineer and if you added the weight of his normal equipment plus special gear, the load was about 2/3 of his body weight.

Walk through a WW2 era submarine sometime. I would have cracked my head on the first day and I'm only six feet tall

SurroundTiny

Good on you man

At this point ( and I could be wrong) there is no agreement/negotiations with the railroad for the southern leg of Coco, which sounds all to familiar to someone who lives in Boulder County.

SurroundTiny

Coco is for getting people from one city to another. There is nothing in it for moving within the cities once you arrived.
