Lots of people do undergrad in engineering, math or statistics and then go on to econ PhD

You get more xp from listening to yuthura tell you the sith code twice. Seems easier. Although obvs only available when you leave taris.

"insultant" 😅 so good

Others have mentioned the effect on capital-intensive industries and labour-saving technology adoption, but I would also menton that most firms have payroll > 40%

Some Greens members are genuinely pro-Russia. Pretty appalling.

Sweet_Theory_362

This is really dumb. Works well for the people who get discounted groceries, does nothing for anyone else. It's like assigning welfare by lottery.

Sweet_Theory_362

I loved Peragus and Manaan, two of my favourites!

Sweet_Theory_362

Because the Greens are not serious. Their policies are populist rubbish that is not supported by evidence.

It takes all year to grow and they show the progress in the book

Sweet_Theory_362

The quiddich pitch was where they were growing the hedge maze

Sweet_Theory_362

No it's not unethical. This is what I would expect people to do. It doesn't matter because its the same course content

Sweet_Theory_362

Lots people want to do it but there's only so many places. And many drop out after the first year because the culture is terrible a d the pay is bad as an apprentice conpared to other entry level jobs.

Love this

Dumbledore employs lots of people who aren't very good at what they do but I think he likes to offer people a life when they wouldn't have one outside like Hagrid and Trelawney.

Sweet_Theory_362

If you email a unit conveynor they are able to book it if you ask nicely

In my experience people who are good at algebra struggle with statistics and visa verse. You don't need that much math for econometrics unless you progress to PhD. Just basic calculus and matrix manipulations.

However in a degree you might end up doing lota of math on the side. For instance, the UNSW degree has a lot of math in it, but MQU doesn't. So it does depend on the university.

I did very little math in highschool but regularly performed well in econometrics classes.

If the banks had smaller margins, interest rates would need to be higher to bring inflation down

The point is that the benefits don't acrue to the participants in the transaction that creates the externality. So in your example the benfits of creating the park acrue to the nearby land owners, not the park owner. The solution to that is for nearby landowners to pay a fee to subsidise the park.
