It works fine on my other laptop so appears to be related to my Lenovo L14 thinkpad. It even does the same with a usb mouse plugged in so not related to the trackpad mouse either.

I'm sure I've seen this same issue a few years ago. Selecting from either side of a word produces the same order as per the example.

The biggest issue for me is having to recreate/edit my kwin window position rules for some apps.

Create a guest wifi on your router, set the mini up, pair your phone over bluetooth, then switch off the guest wifi or change the password. Check that the mini still works OK with bluetooth. Then it has no way of sending data back to Google.

Considering KDE's high level of customisation, I don't understand why transparency isn't just built into the default plasma panel configuration settings out of the box. I just use the Panel Transparency Toggle widget but that is all or nothing.

I was in the exact same position as you but I FIREd shortly before 55 because, even though my job was stress free, I found it very unfulfilling, mundane and boring. If I'd enjoyed the role, I probably would have stayed on for a couple more years.
