Because the one at home might be a terrible role model who’s child grows up to be a not so upstanding member of society. At least in child care kids get appropriate adult models to learn from even if they don’t get it at home. More education benefits society.

Yeah but $500000 is around 7% CCS so you’re still paying thousands per year for childcare. 550 I believe is around 0%. The casting for US this year is chefs kiss. UK has been awful so far, I really don’t care about any of them. I think it’s hard for the UK LI when you have a cast like season 8 with Ekin, Tasha, Gemma, Indi and the boys to come back from. They were a lightning in a bottle cast that only happens every few seasons.

If it’s anything like MAFS australia which honestly is the pinnacle of marriage/wedding reality tv, they occasionally leave in producers asking questions when they are really trying to get answers out of the cast. I would 100% believe Cole was asked point blank about Zanab’s physical appearance. In MAFS a lot of the cast are honest with each other, no you’re not my type this is what I usually go for. Feelings are hurt but they often get over it with some reassurance from their partner. Cole was an idiot but Zanab treated him with contempt. She said she cares about him and she had forgiven him but to me it looks like once they met she hated him. It wasn’t just a few tiffs here and there I think she genuinely hated him and nothing she’s done after the show has changed my mind.

It was completely random to the viewer for Coke to ask is Z was bipolar. Then he says later that Z had previously mentioned it which is why he brought it up. That night was a great example of their relationship. Z told Cole she doesn’t really listen to him talk, criticises multiple things he’s doing, takes over cooking dinner then complains that she has to cook dinner. Cole point blank said to her she makes him feel inferior and she doubled down with the I think your great talk. Someone who repeatedly puts down someone else does not think they are great. Z says she developed an eating disorder that completely cleared up as soon as the show stopped. I hope they both do better in their next relationships but I believe Cole’s self esteem would have been damaged by this a lot more than Z’s. We get it, he told you Coleen was more attractive so you made him feel like shit for weeks and tried to turn the public against him, you win.

I had a client who at 4 years old would never walk, never talk, never eat through her mouth, never roll from one side to the other by herself, never sit up without a special chair, would require hospitalisation for every mild cold and had a life expectancy of 8 years old if she was lucky. Her mom was incredibly strong but I know the choice I would have made. I wouldn’t wish that kind of life on anyone.

I don’t think ADHD makes you a total asshole though. Jacques definitely had some family violence red flags. He was very manipulative, totally makes sense that he dated Gemma when she was underage.
