Your app looks really polished! I also think the personal story behind it could be a strong part of your marketing.

You built something to solve a problem you deal with every day, and then realized it could help others too. That’s a great story to share, if you’re comfortable with it.

Sometimes the story behind an app can connect with people more than just listing its features!

TargetLabs

I can definitely relate! Building an app is one thing, but getting people to discover it is a completely different challenge.

I’m still learning myself, but I’d be happy to exchange experiences and ideas.

What kind of apps or projects are you working on?

TargetLabs

Thanks! Most of my promotion has been organic, mainly through regular social media posts, gameplay clips, and puzzle challenges.

I also got lucky when Android Planet featured Dice Target in an article, which gave downloads a noticeable boost.

It’s been a lot of trial and error, and I’m still learning what works best!

I’ve been building Dice Target, a mobile brain puzzle game using Flutter and Claude Code.

Claude has helped me refine the UI, implement features, and improve the overall experience.

Here’s a look at the current design!

If you enjoy brain puzzles, you might like Dice Target!

Full disclosure: I’m the developer. It’s a free Android game where you combine dice using +, −, × and ÷ to reach a target number.

You can play solo in Practice, Daily Challenges, or 90-second Rush mode.

Thanks so much for giving it a try! Really glad you enjoyed it!

I’m building in the brain puzzle niche with my first mobile game, Dice Target.

The idea came from a physical dice game my wife introduced me to. I wanted to turn that experience into something people could play anywhere.

My focus is on simple rules with meaningful challenges. Players combine dice to reach a target number, with different ways to play: Practice, Daily Challenges, timed Rush, and asynchronous Duels.

I think there’s room for games that are easy to understand but still make you think.

TargetLabs

I’m a solo developer building Dice Target, a mobile brain puzzle game using Flutter and Claude Code.

The game challenges players to combine dice using +, −, × and ÷ to reach a target number. It features Daily Challenges, Practice, a 90-second Rush mode, and asynchronous Duels.

Claude Code has been a big part of my development workflow, helping me implement new features, improve the UI, debug issues, and write tests.

The Android version is live, and I’m currently working toward the iOS release.

TargetLabs

Thanks! Yes, both players get exactly the same dice and targets, so it’s a fair comparison. They can play at different times, and the final result compares their scores and completion times. That’s what makes the asynchronous duels fun!

TargetLabs

Hi everyone! I’m the solo developer of Dice Target, a mobile brain puzzle game.

The goal is simple: reach a target number using dice and +, −, ×, ÷. Every die must be used exactly once.

I wanted to create a quick, engaging brain puzzle for short breaks, with Practice, Daily Challenges, 90-second Rush, and Duels.

I’d love to hear your feedback!

TargetLabs

That’s a really good point! You’re absolutely right that it’s easy to overlook things when you’ve spent so much time developing a game.

I’ve already added a guided tutorial and a beginner-friendly mode to make the first experience easier, but I definitely want to test it with more new players to see where they might still get confused.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! Really appreciate it!

TargetLabs

That’s a great idea! I especially like the thought of using achievements to guide new players through the mechanics, rather than just rewarding progress.

Small milestones could make learning the game feel more natural and rewarding. I’ll definitely explore this as I work on improving the onboarding experience.

Thanks for the suggestion! Really appreciate it! 🙌
