You're talking about a kid who got famous from singing and dancing on YouTube who is in this video, very graciously and humbly, trying something for the first time.

I am more able to control my actions and less thirsty for stimulation. Stopping myself from easy fast stimulation has gotten much easier and forcing myself to do tasks without immediate rewards is possible for the first time in my life.

Yeah that sounds like me in my early twenties. Turns out I was novelty seeking and manipulating my dopamine constantly because I had undiagnosed ADHD. Medication hasn't magically solved everything but it's taken a hopeless, dire situation and turned it into a difficult but manageable one.

To me this feels like watching someone unload a revolver, check the barrel, check the chambers, put a trigger lock on, then point it directly at their head. I'm confident it's probably gonna be fine but at the same time wtf why are you doing that?
