OSight makes a new enclosed MOS direct mount optic too now which I might try out tbh it looks a little odd but the way it mounts up looks pretty damn clean, and it’s enclosed which is better for carry, less chance dust or debris can block your emitter

Just got another G19.5 MOS myself to go with my other Gen 5 19 MOS and Gen 5 19 standard and Gen 6 19, only paid $375 less than 150 rounds fired! Might honestly sell my Gen 6 cause the Gen 5’s stay more planted in my hands since the sides are flat, the Gen 6 rounded sides roll in my hands more, and the trigger is way more squishy. My Gen 5’s feel way more crisp.

Yea definitely don’t chamber a round without it. ND waiting to happen.

You really didn’t miss much, my mom bought one tub each for my brother and I one Christmas and we hadn’t even asked cause we were used to getting the bare minimum being as poor as we were but Christmas was when she made it happen for us cause the rest of the year she couldn’t. It was half dried out upon arrival and after one play went to play with it again and we both just had an expensive foam brick even though they got sealed in the containers properly.

Pffft rookie, I used to take a socket and a Hawaiian Punch jug cut the very bottom off and a 5 gallon bucket of water and gravity that shizz

Nope! If you have spot me it’ll draw from that if your card is unlocked, but if there’s not enough spot me it’ll simply decline the transaction.

Ahh pish posh, nonsense boy! I got a backup of each of my favorite carries, if the cops take it you won’t be getting it back for a long time if at all, plus you can take one of them, use it for all your training, and keep the carry version low round count just barely broken in and mint for carry only.
Tdogg175
When in doubt buy a second 48 and you get 2 more and a backup to your carry gun 🤷🏻♂️
Tdogg175
Is this a G34 barrel by chance?
Tdogg175
You gotta disconnect the sear from the striker lug, remove backplate, remove striker/ slide internals and then aside from the locking block it shouldn’t have anything to hold it in place anymore

Might do the opposite if you just simply carry it. But not the case if you actually train regularly on how to properly use it. Unlike you who would probably just be a liability and a risk being around a firearm, I train regularly and have over 23 years of experience shooting handguns, specifically the exact handgun I still carry to this day. I probably have more experience and hours in shooting firearms than you do in your actual profession and my experience isn’t even my profession lol. You’re grasping for strings that aren’t even there to grasp. Half the stuff you typed out is so far from the truth it isn’t even funny, and it’s also based off crap online that also isn’t factual whatsoever.

Exceedingly rare… yet happens to MILLIONS of people a year.. just cause it hasn’t happened to you, doesn’t mean it never will, or doesn’t mean millions don’t go through it every year. There’s millions of defensive firearm uses in this country every single year. I’m not chancing being one of them without the means to combat it if I have to. I never want that to be the case, but I’ll be damned if I’m not prepared. And it’s not just about evil people with guns either, could be evil people with knives, could be a dude quadruple my size that would take my life simply by participating in a fight with that man, a defensive firearm is called the great equalizer for a reason. If I’m at risk of great bodily harm or death or my family is at risk, I have the means to put an end to it immediately. You funny enough statistically have a higher chance at being attacked than you realize… it’s okay that you don’t wanna carry a firearm im not criticizing you for that at all, you aren’t as prepared as you should be, but that’s not a criticism I respect your right to choose that for yourself, just simply stating that it’s getting increasingly dangerous in society year after year and just like I carry a pocket knife just in case I have boxes or need to be cutting through things I might need to cut, I carry a firearm as a just in case tool to protect myself and my family.
Tdogg175
Lol well it’s a good thing your opinion about our country is meaningless and invalid anyways, especially since no other country in the world compares to its stature and power anyway.

I thought that shit was coffee cake

Glock 19 for the streets 365 days a year 24/7. Glock 20 10mm in a chest rig for the woods with hardcast/ trophy bonded rounds for the full non neutered 10mm OOMPH in case I encounter one of the many bears or large predators in our woods. G19 Gen 5 decked out for edc, and G20 Gen 5 for the woods. My pops does the same except he carries his Gen 3 G19 he’s had since 1998 and the first gun I ever shot, and a Gen 3 G20C for the woods. Both New Hampshirites so it’s basically an entire state of woods and bears and bobcats and mountain lions etc.
Tdogg175
And that’s okay, but people need to stop criticizing or asking why anyone would carry every day when in America we have the 2nd amendment so more guns than people exist here. Also with the way the world has been lately, I carry so I can have the means to at least have a fighting chance if some psycho chooses me as their next victim.. I won’t become a victim without a fight. I also have a wife and two small daughters to protect from the evil out there. The cliche is true though, rather have it and never need it, than need it and not have it. God forbid If you’re ever attacked and your life is in danger even you will spend the last moments wishing you had one on you. 🤷🏻♂️

This, the polymer has to have SOME amount of give to it so it doesn’t shatter from the literal mini controlled explosions going on inside of it. Though a lot of the deep gaps people get are simply from doing meltdown style shooting, mag dumping, shooting hundreds of rounds back to back without allowing the gun to cool at all it heats up the polymer and introduces that bit of “sag”.

Frank. After working tons of blue collar jobs, if there’s one thing I know for certain, whatever guy named Frank works there, he’s almost always gonna be near or on the shitter.
Tdogg175
This is one of the big reasons I love Glocks. You can have any generation, any caliber, any size, Glock pistols all have the same controls, same manual of arms, same features (aside from front serrations and full ambi slide stop levers being on 5/6). You know how to run/ maintain/ tear down one of them you know how to run them all.
Tdogg175
I personally rock the Trijicon Tough and Bright 3 dot white tritium sights. It retains that clean white OEM+ look, but has super bright tritiums for dark environments. I grew up shooting with stock Glock sights with my pops I finally just got him to swap for night sights, I’ll never convince him to run an optic he’s very much an iron sights guy on pistols much like his favorite GunTuber we watched together growing up Hickok45 lol. But anyway, the three white dot sights gives me the most familiar iron sight picture while still having tritium on board. Optic is my main sighting method, but they’re there if I gotta revert back to decades of iron sight shooting.

Of course, of course part of the reason/ benefit of my extra mag is capacity, my point was it’s the least likely scenario I’d need my spare mag though I’m prepared for that regardless due to having it. Just pointing out my main reason I carry a spare. God forbid my luck that day is shit and my mag or ammo decides it wants to screw me, I’m prepared for a faster way of dealing with that “oh shit” kinda moment.
Tdogg175
15+1 in my piece, spare 15 round mag with a +5 baseplate making it a 20 round mag so 36 rounds.
Tdogg175
It’s not about capacity. It’s about malfunctions. Out of every component in your daily carry pistol, your carry mag/ ammo is the most likely possible culprit of a malfunction. I carry a spare mag not because I think I’m gonna have to John Wick my way out of a situation, 16 rounds in my pistol SHOULD be plenty.. but on the off chance I have a magazine or ammo malfunction, it’s far faster to drop the problem mag, slap my spare into the gun and rack a fresh round than it is to rack and rack the pistol with the mag that fucked up till it HOPEFULLY goes boom again.
I only chamber a round once, the second time it gets chambered is when I’m blowing the mag off at the range. I chamber a round, it stays in the chamber till I need to clean it (I have a direct copy of my carry to train with, my carry stays loaded 99% of the time). Once the round comes out of the chamber, I mark it with a sharpie and rotate it to the bottom of the mag, it’s still safe to fire if I need to in an actual self defense encounter since it was only chambered once. Once the mag is nothing but marked rounds it gets blown off at the next range day to train with my carry ammo, and new rounds replace those ones as well as the rounds in my backup mag since it usually takes 4-6 months to fully work through all 16 rounds that go in my gun to be all marked.
